It isn't that staircase. As I can't be bothered to check the relative depths and space available, etc, I don't know whether it could be or not. As a bit of a clue, D stocks don't serve this station. Must be HSK branch then.. I will start the bidding at Notting Hill Gate

Im unsure of the link (everytime I think of a link, one station doesnt complete the set..) Could B be Victoria? Do you need to look at a map to find the answer or is it to do with the direction you travel? Or am I confusing myself

B is obviously Victoria Line, so could it be Finsbury Park Wells Terrace entrance maybe?

Hey
Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas
Right, back O/T
2012 looks to be an important year to get our capital's transport running effectively...
Are you looking forward to the world seeing our fantastic historical Underground railway?
Do you think the tube will cope with the Olympic demands
Will S stock be virtually fault free by the end of 2012?
Anything else I've missed
I'd be interested in people's views on the year ahead...

This happened to me a few years ago, had to touch out.... it charged me full fare and had to ring oyster up..... im sure if I was more sober Id have asked the attendant to let me through Bounds Green has the 102, N91 and 221 (frequency is 30, 15, 30 respectively) Yes 221 is running through the night too. (every 30 mins after last official bus)

From Memory, as the train leaves Camden Road Westbound, you hear the pantograph drop, with a bit of a bang! So maybe happening there too....

Totally agree about LO - the system is almost unrecognisable from its Silverlink days in every aspect. And the passenger usage has gone through the roof. Just goes to show that passenger numbers will nearly always increase with a frequent, reliable and safe service. Bearing in mind the success of LO, it is inconceivable to think that the NLL was on the Beeching list! I wish that LO would take over all of London's suburban railways and transform in the same way... but I think this maybe a dream for now

I dont use the Met hardly ever... However, as an observer of this subject over the last few weeks, both before and after this timetable has commenced, it is clear that there is a mixed emotion between those for and against this change. I think those posting here need to understand that MetControl is there to look after the service and do his very best. It is also important to note that, we will always defend subjects or items we love, whether we are blind to the facts or opinions. I think the subject of this timetable has been debated enough, and I believe that people's opinions clearly differ and is causing tension amongst members. Lets all enjoy our love that is the tube, and speak positively as one group Thanks Dom

I'm sure the MODs wont mind me bumping this thread... Just spent some time reading from the District Dave website and if no-one has read the story of District Dave, then they should, it's a fantastic read and I'm sure still brings a tear to even someone who has read it many times... Take a look guys www.districtdave.co.uk/html/district_dave.html

Hi
I've travelled this section many times, and I've always wondered why the train seems to go at such a slow speed, the track seems relatively straight!
Seeing as Stratford is an area in transformation, do you think there are plans to increase services to the area from the current half hourly off peak service?
Could the South Tottenham spur be used by LO to have an extra service to Stratford for the future?

I've always been unsure of Eastenders train use/noises.. They have a tube station, that has all the right bits, except I cant imagine it being too practical in the peak Plus will this station suffer staff cuts and ticket office hours hehe

Im sure it'd be of benefit for all inner suburban lines to be LO operated, even just for ease of fares.
Of course then the old chesnut of naming the lines would surface again (rightly so!)
... give the TOCS the opportunity to concentrate on other services maybe...

Crossrail yes, Thameslink no... although both lines serve the same purpose... This might be because of TFL having some control of Crossrail whereas Thameslink is just a TOC that has a through London route...

it's one thing I consider as the most disgusting thing you can be on the other end of, and anyone that knows me from my days of football...... Haha, I suppose that happens.. I'd 8 2 be spat at, and agree it's disgusting. Football fans can be quite vulgar (very minor amount, as I am one!) I wouldnt want to take my wife 2 1, even if it was 4 3 Hehe
