We are teasing a discussion about politics, which as you know is not a thing we discuss here. Please be mindful of where the topic might be going. Thanks

Are there any plans for the 710s to go on the Windrush? (ELL) This is not possible due to the 710s not having an escape route via the cab which is required in the tunnel section. This is why the 378s have this design

It is worth noting that we appreciate all feedback regardless of whether it is positive or negative, but if someone has an issue with something, maybe it’s best to discuss it with the Moderators or Admin Team. Discussing it in a public way achieves nothing as the comments are often vague.
If in any doubts DM a staff member who will happily discuss your comments and provide you with a response.
Hope that helps

I’m no expert on the length of carriages but the cl378 and cl710 have used this curve. Would have been quite the photograph at the intermediate stations on the LO!

Something that has been missed is that Seven Sisters and Edmonton Green no longer have interchange with National Rail as Greater Anglia stopped serving there from Today. London Overground is a National Rail operator though, even though it likes to pretend it's not. Cannot disagree. But to the uninitiated they probably will either not notice or you’ll get a punter turning up as Seven Sisters waiting for a train that will never arrive. In a cruel way, that’s kinda fun!

This has wiser issues as both the London Overground and Victoria Lime announce the national rail interchange at Seven Sisters and they include it on their in car diagrams too.
Platform signage at Edmonton Green and Seven Sisters both show trains to Hertford East

It would be a real shame to lock this thread. Let’s remember this forum has ZERO tolerance to Political discussion, even if it’s hinted at. This thread has already had a few moderator interceptions. Anymore could result in the thread being locked.
Thank you

I hope they remove the pointless announcements on the LO trains saying you can change for national rail at Edmonton Green and Seven Sisters. It is a rather pointless announcement anyway as there are so few trains that make the stop M-F and none at weekends and why you would get off the train to get a national rail service to the same destination makes no sense (with the exception of the Hertford East service but you’d be more likely to wait on the serving platform than get on a slow train a few stops to get the fast behind it!
