Hmm .. is it to do with escalators I know Greenford only has one, City Airport probably has two, Turnpike Lane 3 and Seven Sisters 4? Stratford isn't on the list. I can only think of two escalators - one from the main entrance up to the mezzanine (DLR via Poplar) level, and one from the Jubilee Line concourse to the mezzanine (i.e. one either side of the DLR Stratford International platforms). These are the only two shown on NR's "stations made easy" plan of the station, and CULG only gives details of two escalators at the station (although it doesn't note where they are). The media release about the station upgrade talked about nine new lifts, but didn't mention escalators. I forgot about the other one. The 4 others are the new ones to Westfield shopping centre

Doesnt Stratford only have 5? Including the 4 new ones and the single one upto the DLR platforms?

Very cryptic mr M. I know turnpike lane inside out with seven sisters a close 2nd, so will have to rack my brains to find the link between those 2! I'm fairly sure there isn't an airport at either

yes, anymore expansive and we'd be here forever! Good list... I guess there are harder ones are where the word features inside another word... like the HEATHrow example...

TFL site said Part Suspension as the problem... obviously an error, but was funny seeing it Imagine the passengers face, you have just left bank, next stop is... bank

Definately TCR! Something makes me think this is Crossrail related, so the other station might be connected...It looks like it could be Jubilee line connected, stratford end... North Greenwich?

To think I've passed this and used this station thousands of times. It came to me this morning! The trees behind make it deceptive thinking it's a suburbs station!

I guess it would miss out Gospel Oak, which isnt a bad thing as most change there for other LO services, and for people going towards Wills, then they wont have to go under the subway at Gospel...
But, I guess the question is how does it get there, and why not put it in service anyway...
