Would the connection between the four locations be that they have a NR terminal adjoining/connected to the underground stations and the insets in each are places you can get to by mainline train from the four termini

Two trips on the Caledonian Sleeper.
The first in August 2013 between London and Aberdeen (I returned to London, two weeks later on a daytime train)
and the second in August last year between London and Inverness (and back a fortnight later)
IMHO, a nice experience. Has anyone else travelled on the remaining UK sleeper trains?

Better they get re-used elsewhere than sent on a one way trip to the scrap merchants.

As the withdrawal of D Stock has commenced, does anyone know if there will be a farewell tour for the stock in a similar manner to that for the withdrawn C stock ? - I hope this is the right place to ask this particular question

Does that mean that the 1973ts would have been routed via Ealing Common and Ealing Broadway in order to access the Great Western Mainline
or is there another way for the 73ts to access the GWML

As a regular commuter on the Central line, I wondered if anyone knows how many trains are needed to keep the service going at Mon - Fri peaks as well as the requirements for other times.
Apologies if this question has been dealt with elsewhere, I wanted to make my first contribution as a member, a sensible one about the line I use most often.
I was a frequent visitor to the forum before registering as a member and found it invaluable in learning more about what is undoubtedly an icon of the capital.
Best Regards
Alex
