Video here - think I spotted a couple of continuity errors but I could be wrong:

I think if the delay is 15 minutes you should get a refund whether you used TfL or not to get around the issue. I put in a claim a few weeks ago when trying to get home from Piccadilly Circus, the last two or three northbound Piccadilly Line trains didn't run due to a signal failure and I was turfed out of the station and had to get two night buses home; in total about an hour and a half delay. My refund was turned down as they couldn't verify the delay (the issue with not having a comments box in the form) but I called up and explained and the refund was processed straight away.

Imagine the extra delays at stations whilst men who are unaware and confused tourists are made to leave the carriage and walk down the train to the next carriage.
This also sounds unbelievably sexist by discriminating against people for the way they were born, basically the same as having a 'whites only' carriage, and I'm sure that wouldn't go down too well.

Whilst it's a slightly different situation, the original Glasgow subway trains were built between 1896 and 1915, and were finally withdrawn in 1977 so some of the cars were 81 years old!

B I believe is Canary Wharf? D reminds me of Walthamstow Central but so much has changed there recently!

I think the background is the Broadgate development. No idea for the main pic but it looks like it could be the Northern Line - Mornington Crescent?

Is it to do with the London Overground route between Brockley and New Cross being simply added to the existing Southern route? Kensal Rise to Willesden Junction was transferred from Silverlink to London Overground, Debden to Theydon Bois was transferred from the London & North Eastern Railway to London Underground, and Crossharbour to Mudchute was originally the London & Blackwall Railway before becoming the DLR (about 50 years later).

Apologies for digging this thread up but could I ask for the answers to this one please? Have had this link at the back of my mind for three months now!

As a complete guess I'll say B is Watford and C is Watford Junction as termini stations beginning with W. And the 5th would be Woolwich Arsenal, although Waterloo may need to fit in there somewhere.

Agree with causton - the old route is still there, the signs just direct you to the overly-long passageway, I assume so the station can hold more passengers and not have them crowding up the platforms. You can see the layout here: parkinginstevenage.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/king-cross-upgrade-map1.gif - you can come out of the west end of the Victoria Line platforms as before, or use the new corridor at the east end for a sizeable detour.

So with Walthamstow Central NR coming under TfL control is the long-awaited Central/Queens Road walking link likely to be re-instated anytime soon? A quick Google search shows it's been at the planning stage since 1996 and has been continually 'coming shortly' in the ten years I've been here.

A = Abbey Road B = Bow Road C = Caledonian Road D = Devons Road
So I guess C is the odd one out as it's an Underground station rather than a DLR station, and the fifth in the set is Elverson Road?

+2.
With no need for steam ventilation couldn't TFL raise a few million by building actual houses on here now?

I certainly miss them, much more reliable, attractive and cooler than the 09s. Plus with the "defective trains" I hear about most days, on average I think my commute was quicker on the 67s. Still, I get cheaper travel thanks to the refunds for 15-minute delays, nearly £180 last year and £68 so far this year! Hooray for progress!

I did find the guy waking up in Morden wanting to get to Blackhorse Road quite amusing, reminded me of the line from Spaced:
"Where are you?" "I'm in Sheffield. Fell asleep on the tube." "The tube doesn't go to Sheffield?" "Yeah, I must've changed at Kings Cross."

Seven Sisters? Seem to recall having to avoid something similar when moving from terminating trains to the Walthamstow branch.
