Used to travel regularly from Earls Court to Wimbledon, used to not bother trying to read the newspaper until we reached East Putney as until them the track was rather bumpy! Not part of this thread but do Recall as others have mentioned, commuters from Wimbledon Park planning to travel in the opposite direction, used to get on the Wimbledon service and stay on to get a seat back up!

The Cross Country Trains services between Bournemouth/Southampton and Birmingham reverse at Reading, up to 2 trains an hour, some services then reverse again at Birmingham to continue onto their final destination.

Odd one out Hammersmith as it's the only SSR depot on the list and the only one that serves two or more lines?

Remember many years ago travelling in the guards coach on 62TS, chatting to him about Wood Lane and other closed stations, he opened his door as we went through the old Kingsway station, couldn't see much from the passenger side of the guards barrier, but a better view than out of the window.

Is the background the London bound slip road onto the Target roundabout at Northolt from the A40? Not sure where the station is.
