Its Four-part Friday! Four locations, identify the link between them and the odd one out. There is also an inset to identify. (click for a larger version) The locations and inset are referenced according to the following diagram:

And based on previous answers I'd go for the odd one out being Hammersmith, serving SSR stock while all the others serve tube stock.

Answer: Location A: Hammersmith Depot - view from Lena Gardens [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Location B: London Road Depot - view from number 12 bus [Chris M] <<Updated>> (click for a larger version) Location C: Northfields depot - south end fan [londonstuff] (click for a larger version) Location D: Morden Depot - roads west of shed [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Inset: Statue of Air Chief Marshall Sir Kieth Park in Waterloo Place [Chris M] (click for a larger version) You are so very nearly there with the link, but it needs a tiny more work to match the answer on my card. You have the right odd one out, just not quite why.

I'll sort out the non-appearance of the inset image later, but meanwhile eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted a find-and-replace error in the text. Location B is London Road Depot viewed from a number 12 bus on Tuesday afternoon, not Island Gardens (which I don't think is visible from anywhere on the number 12 route)

Is the link that they are all depots at the end of a line (or almost at the end of the line), apart from Northfields, which is not. Or is it to do with how trains enter the depot?

No it is Hammersmith. Is it because Hammersmith is the only one that serves two lines???

Hammersmith is the odd one out, but yesterday's attempt was closer than either of today's

Hammersmith services 2 types of rolling stock (at least for a couple more months)?

Nope! And based on previous answers I'd go for the odd one out being Hammersmith, serving SSR stock while all the others serve tube stock. This guess is really close to the actual answer on the card.

Odd one out Hammersmith as it's the only SSR depot on the list and the only one that serves two or more lines?

Hammersmith, the only one which doesn't serve tube stock?

You're very nearly there, but there is a slight element of history to this that you need to think of to get it.
Hammersmith is the odd one out.

Hmm, Hammersmith is the only proper depot on the H&C&C lines, and is soon to be obsolete. All the others have other depots (where maintenance takes place, not glorified sidings),
I can't think of any other historical aspects for depots which might be the link.

Its not about other depots on the line, but it is about the stock.

Its not about other depots on the line, but it is about the stock. They were the first depots to use air door stock

Nope, think about the answer that we said was very close. Hammersmith is the only one where the depot is adjacent to the platforms

Hammersmith has serviced tube stock when it normally wouldn't have, as opposed to the others which have only serviced tube stock? (although Northfields is currently home to an S stock or 2 at the moment)

It is not to do with location, or doors; but is to do with trains.
