Hi folks, I was wondering if anyone had any of the new Network Rail track layouts for the North London Line?
Thanks Dazz285

Chiltern are always on time because they have there own tracks to run on, if you know what I mean? No interference from freight etc.. Lucky so & so's ;-)

The new timetable starts December 9th. At the moment there is a timetable book in place valid from Nove 11th to December 8th. Keeps those eyes peeled around the end of November. Dazz285

As for age, they aren't that old and I personally quite like them so I hope they are floating around for a few years yet! You try spending upto 4 hours in those cabs. The seats are claped out and the seals around the doors keep on wearing out causing a draught and noise... Roll bars are very noisey until treated... Water leaks down the windscreens and various other gaps in the bodywork.. Roll on the 378's Dazz285

I've been told that 313101 will be going to York Railway museum. Seems odd though that Tfl are only getting the same amount of 378's as there are 313's, or am I missing something? Dazz285

North Acton would be a nice idea but where we cross over the central line there are 2 junctions at Acton Wells so this would make it very difficult to put in a station and platforms. Dazz285 It would require that the Overground would be four tracked here with the platforms on the 'non-junction' lines - with the freight passing on the junction lines. And to do that would mean either new junctions or moving the signal box and taking land from the residents whose gardens run along the line. No land available on the North Acton station side due to a few warehouses ans a very large concrete built wall oposite the signal box. Dazz285

I enjoyed looking at your designs mate. I especially liked the idea of the termini being in block colour on the map. It gives the whole thing a far more understandable look. Did I notice a few extra stations added to the Overground (North Acton, Brixton?). They should put you in charge. North Acton would be a nice idea but where we cross over the central line there are 2 junctions at Acton Wells so this would make it very difficult to put in a station and platforms. Dazz285

Well I thought that as London Midland had their web site up and running 2 days ago so would have LO or Tfl but no nothing... No information regarding anything on the www.lorol.co.uk web site that hasn't been available for weeks.. shame really I thought that things might be different but alass it seems that it's going down hill already.... Gunnersbury is now run by LUL so not LOROL's problem.. At the mo there is a hell of a lot of painting going on at various stations.. Seems like Silverlink didn't do enough with the basics... Saw on my travlels today that Kentish Town West now has new orange hand rails down the stairs.. Oh my god this is going to become bad.. Everywhere orange.. pass the sick bag.... ;-0 And they say that orange is a fun colour..... Dazz285

Willesden Junction has a new sort of totem outside.. The odd thing is that it shows a London Underground roundel a London Overground roundel AND a Network Rail logo and at the bottom an orange rectangle with the words in white Willesden Junction ... very odd !!

I bet that if you leave them long enough at either Richmond Willesden TMD or Clapham Junction the local yobs will brand them in their on colours ;-)

And the Silverlink's will still get priority over the junction ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Seems odd to me that you say that How many times do you see a Silverlink train standing at GB5 waiting for a District to either leave or arrive at Gunnersbury, Plenty......
