Sunday 19 May 2013 was the absolute last day of service due to the Rickmansworth Festival.

I have photos of it in action but it is archived in another computer, and some may be aware I quit Flickr last year due to the recent Yahoo scandal (though not before downloading the whole archive, which means I have at least two copies).

I guess there's still a year left before anything does happen to the A stock and many including myself are crossing everything in the hope that one of them are saved. I have looked inside the RAT and i agree it isn't up to serviceable condition however, a few man hours will easily bring it back to condition. I'm sure many of us will be more than happy to volunteer in bringing the A stock back to shape and back onto metroland where it belongs! Anything is possible these days
