I understand the Tour tickets and timetables are now being dispatched to the lucky recipients, so times now added

Interesting to see that the train will be at Northfields Platform 4 for the best part of 50 minutes - isn't the train going to be stabled at Northfields depot (as happened on the C Stock tour) for the majority of the lunchbreak?

The timetable shows that it may be merely reversed via Northfields.
Question: will the Piccadilly fast lines (Hammersmith-Acton) be used on any leg?

I understand that the train will lay-over in Northfields platform 4, as shown, rather than in the depot.
Unlikely the fast lines will be used, but it's ultimately at the discretion of the operating official/service manager/service operator on the day. ("Signal Operators may vary the routing...in the best interests of the service" - though generally TTNs are not deviated from.)

Cool, that does mean it will do the Local Eastbound between Northfields and Acton Town. I bet that will be the fastest a D stock has approached Acton Town Platform 4, unless they put a speed restriction on it through the tunnel.

The timetable that came to from a railgen source suggested that the train will use the local lines.
Also, there will be a 20ish minute layover in the bay platform at Plaistow and then the train will reverse in the West ham siding before continuing on to Upminster.
Although I have shared it elsewhere I've not posted the full timetable (which also quotes the planned passing times at many intermediate stations) here because I understand that sharing this type of detailed information about special workings is not allowed. Maybe though since this specific train is aimed at the public the moderators will allow a waiver?

I've sent you a private message with the information showing scheduled timing points at many intermediate stations. I would be happy to publish it here myself, if you agree to my doing so. Simon

Who's up for a mini-meet at a pub the night before, whether you'll be coming on the tour or not?

It appears it is already on one of the UK rail forums. Yes, I published it there, plus on my YouTube channel with a link to a page on my website from where it is possible to download a pdf version specially designing for printing on a single sheet of A4 paper. But I've not been given permission to share the info here. Simon

HI the time table is it wrong about the stop over time at northfields depot this is from the museums web copyed and paste There will be a short break (with toilets available) at 1504 - 1528 at Plaistow with a lunch break scheduled between 1256 - 1402 at Northfields. • London Transport Museum will have a shop open for the sale of appropriate merchandise during the lunch break. Toilets will be available at two of the scheduled station stops for tour customer use. The tour is scheduled to terminate at Ealing Broadway at 1750.

Everybody who's booked on the tour have a great day out! Today is my 52nd birthday so I'll be (predictably) in the pub with some friends nearly 200 miles away.

What a day it was.... I spent my time talking to a fellow member (earlscourt) in 7007.
Many thanks to all those involved today ensuring that the D Stock received the send off they deserved. The Stewards did an outstanding job with great humour, especially Colon and Solidbond who put up with me sneaking up on them to capture yet another photo without warning 😜
Speaking of which, I've realised that I have developed clicky finger syndrome... in that I took 1000 photos and two short videos today. That should keep me quiet for a day... I hope to upload and share the best of today, tomorrow evening 🤓

To drag my post back on topic, I look forward to seeing your photos

That was a fun lunch break sorting through the last of the 1000 images....
The best of the images... 317, some of which have been slightly tweaked, are now up on Flickr and can be found...
HERE
Images include some of my side hobby.... trainspotter spotting and document the day on board...
There are images of members... a forum Consultant or two (including Colin.... sorry I mean Colon ) and Mods too...
I hope you like them.... just beware, I think an image or two of me may find its way online somewhere else....
Be scared.... Be very scared !!
