Had a 'don't pull the emergency alarms, it's because of the steam train infront of us', from the driver of a C Stock.

Same. Couldn't see my friend last night at Euston Square for some reason, but the steam did fog up the windows with sooty residue when I wiped it

Same. Couldn't see my friend last night at Euston Square for some reason, but the steam did fog up the windows with sooty residue when I wiped it Which proved to be a problem for me (I was the friend). At least I got some photos of both ends of the train. And a video. If anyone was at Euston Square who saw me, I was the one with the iPod and camera! One of the few shots I got there: www.flickr.com/photos/wltmauc/8403737606/in/photostreamAnd, for more photos and video from my blog: wltmauc.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/lu-150-steam-on-met-200113.html(back as a link), and added my blog link

If anyone wants to know more about carriage 353 which was originally built in 1892 and was restored by the Ffestiniog Railway in time for last Sunday, see www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-20964986

Some more of my photos and videos are here, which include going on the 21:35 from Moorgate. I loved it and bought a whole heap of stuff from the gift shop afterwards, including some rather nice cuff links and a book about Underground heritage by our very own Abe. The photos are also on FB if you happen to know me in real life

Went over to Ruislip today and saw the steam trains.

Great runnings from the circus train today and yesterday, in good weather. I see MET has failed again. Just like 1989 all over again.
