Hi lads
I went down to London on the Monday 3/03/14 just a quick ride down there. I saw all four C69/77 in service
On the district line between Edgware Road to Wimbledon line nick wimbleware line
The lists of all C77/69 stock trains are as follows
Train no 076 5726 6726 5552 6552 5720 6720
Train no 072 5727 6727 5560 6560 5596 6596
Train no 073 5529 6529 5524 6524 5545 6545
Train no 074 5549 6549 5555 6555 5522 6522
And the S7 on that was working seen that day

Not in the morning, but later on there was, 5551 in the middle, and it is still there

That train at parsons green station yesterday lads did anybody get the last two numbers on each end of it ?
I might know the numbers on that train at parsons green station the numbers is as follows ok.
5516 6516 5551 6551 5712 6712 is that the set sitting at parsons green station yesterday lads ?
can someone can tell me if they know if that's the one

Yes, 5712 (w/s), 5551, and 5515 5516 (e/n) at parsons green still, behind the WB road

I think 5515 should read 5516 as 5515 (unit) went for scrap January 2013.

5712+5551+5516 made an additional passenger working this morning as T177 Parsons Green-Barking for a training exercise. Will return later today.

I think this is the correct thread to post this question, but would I be right in thinking it's way too early to know which train(s) will be worked by C stock on their very last day on 29th June?

I know I'd like that, but I haven't seen it for a while.
Also, there are at least 5 trains of C stock still knocking around on the district (4 in service + spare @ Parsons Green) and the withdrawal list showing that there are 8 trains available. Are 3 trains sat in Hammersmith depot receiving maintenance, (including 5555) and when will the next ones be heading off for scrap. I suspect they only need 6 trains, 4 in service, 1 hot spare, and 1 in the depot for maintenance, or is this speculation complete untrue?

I went down to Fulham Broadway station on the district line for the 4 booked C stock trains are running on that line on the Edgware Road to Wimbledon line on the 24th march 2014 the formations are as follows
Train no 072 5727 6727 5560 6560 5596 6596
Train no 073 5533 6533 5517 6517 5592 6592
Train no 074 5529 6529 5524 6524 5545 6545
Train no 076 5578 6578 5531 6531 5721 6721
Still nice to see them in service while they still on running around on the district line these will sadly missed when these units are completely gone . Take photographs of these units when they are gone there no 2nd chance.

The train with set 5555 in hasn't been in service for an bit. I hope this is because it is getting seen to before use in the farewell tours, and not for some other reason. Also what are the chances of the farewell train getting a bit of a reupholster before the tours. It may be a bit unfair to have some seats rather nice and plush, and others almost non-existent

I overheard a member of staff today involved in the withdrawal programme saying that there is a DfT milestone that all the C Stock have to be gone by the 4th July.
At the current rate, I (and they) don't think it will be a problem.

Is everything still on track for the remaining C stocks to go next month? Any indication of a date? More likely early June now, as slowed S7 training will miss the hoped for coincidence of C Stock withdrawal and introduction of WTT145 on 18 May. |

Still nothing firm yet, other than being after the introduction of WTT145 on 18 May. "late-May" is all that is quoted. |

Probably about the same time as the block of weekend closures of the southern and western sides of the circle line then! Planned or just coincidence that these two events are likely to occur at or near the same time?

The spare ventured out in service earlier (I think on train 101) arriving into Wimbledon at about 0805
