The london underground livery of red blue and white has been around for 25 years? (anybody know which line and train was the first to wear it, not talking about the trial liveries) and so i was wondering, most TOC's have changed their livery multiple times or at least once if theyve held the franchise since the beginning, e.g virgin and SWT.
So will the livery ever change? what do people think? Why or why not?

Hi all,
Just wondering, when the 1996 stock entered service, at the time, with not so many stock required for full service as the line went only to charing x, was the 1983 stock replaced immediately or was there a period of dual operation between the two? if so does anyone have any pictures of the two together?

just a couple of questions:
1. what exactly do you mean by rewelding? 2. When can we expect to see a prototype or infact a fully refurbished 72ts unit? 3. When will the 73 stock be replaced now that it seems the 72s will be rewelded?

as many have probably noticed, you see great portland street looking nice and modern, kings cross looking modern and nice again, but then, theres euston square, GRIMEY and aged. My question is, when was the last time the station was refurbished? I mean there isnt even a roundel at the station that dates from after the 90's! (i think). Are there any plans to renovate or refurb the station at all? I mean quite frankly it kind of looks nice that is hasnt been redone to modern standards! not complaining here at all by the way

interesting, i know this has probably been answered before but what is the actual REAL, reason for removing the fasts of peak? why dont LU even like the idea of running at least 2tph fast or even semi fast? Now would they really remove the peak fasts? what benefit does this give them at all if any? people need to get to work and back in the peaks so surely someone must consider this!

i have noticed that s8 stock trains between aldgate and finchely road seem to accelerate quite quickly at each stop, however, in the north west part of the metropolitan line they accelerate almost much slower! any reason for this? cant acceleration be upgraded now everywhere with no a stock about?

nono its not on the platforms, when u enter the ticket gates, you turn right to go to platforms 1 and 2, the screen is directly infront of you before the staircase going down
