Could it be one main entrance plus a number of alternative entrances, I can think this of Cockfosters (car park, subway) Stanmore I presume has entrance from car park. Hammersmith has one main entrance (shopping) and various subway exits, but then that applies to loads of stations... am I close to the answer? Im sure the answer is staring at us in the face...

Blimey, now im even more stumped! I guess its hard not to confuse when you know the answer and what conclusion will be made from clues.... Erm, they all have stairs from Platforms, at least 3 of them are possible terminating points on each line, erm, none of them have escalators, I think only Hammersmith and Shadwell have lifts, so that isnt a connection... But then there are stations like Arnos Grove and Oakwood like that... The only difference is Cockfosters is a terminating point and has multiple platforms... thats just a bit from what I'm actually thinking and trying to connect. Maybe some of what Ive said might help someone else...
Step Free Access connection?

I guess we do need to set a boundary, or else we need to look at others as thameslink is a similar type of line.
So maybe the best way to define what stations to quiz, is to include only those that are on the tube map?

I visited yesterday thinking that most people would be at work, and Id be able to look around without much trouble!
Suffice to say, I felt like the whole of London had gone there, would be an understatement!
It did look amazing, and it is nice to see a modern massive shopping mall! In the US, big malls are a common place, so this one is pretty amazing! Gave me a chance to travel on the new DLR extension, still all looks new, with only a few people using the new stations (as apposed to the links and re-opened ones). outside the DLR Stratford International, it still looks like a building site, and probably can only be judge upon in 8 months when the olympics are up and running!
I hope they regenerate other areas of London like that!

Is B Oakwood?
EDIT: The more I look at it, the more I think it's Arnos Grove. I knew it was that end, just which one, but you can see the stair case in the background...

Well Done! So obvious! And that also leads to the odd one out that Chris M was saying as the Met was serving Hammersmith at the time! Love these quizzes.... its my aim to take some pictures for future quizzes

well, prior to the 1990 map, the H&C line was Metro, thats the only difference between 1990 and previous, or am I missing something...
Ive looked at the maps and stations... the link could be that they all have a shop at the station.... I cant think of anything... is it do do with the geographical locations?
