They are currently being installed and behind some blue hoarding oh that location is same place where old lift went? cause maps show wheelchair symbol still exists so means old lift will decommison after new lifts installed? but if old lift has already removed and how wheelchairs get upstairs? like stairlift as tempoary transport between ticket hall and platforms

The old lift is still there. There wouldn't be anywhere to put a stairlift reasonably anyway. Incidentally the platforms have got humps now!

New cream tiling with blue relief around 80% complete. This seems to be the same job-lot as used at Stratford and Blackfriars. Some of the roundels are oddly positioned part obscuring the horizontal colour bands on the pillars. Bits of orange tiling still extant in places. The Tom Eckersley 'Concorde' motifs have, shamefully, been replaced with replicas. The originals had a black background and were melamine, the new ones are enamel and have a brown base. No surprise they no longer bear the artist's signature either. www.flickr.com/photos/24772733@N05/6680239407/in/photostream

I really hope they don't replace the white on blue background name boards, I think they look alot nicer than the standard ones.

This white-on-blue platform friezes have disappeared from almost the entire Victoria Line, with just Pimlico remaining. They have also gone from Hatton Cross and Hounslow West. Also removed from T123 are the back-lit illuminated platform roundels, another Victoria Line innovation. To get back OT, platform humps now allow level access to the train though it appears any new lifts remain to be commissioned.

Not sure what you mean, that lift was step free, I used to use it from platform to bus station on night shift, the intermediate levels were the Non passenger mezzanine area and the ticket hall. The buttons were in the lift for the four floors. the old small lift (this was for staff use) but newer one is bigger which is public - no need for staff to operate the small lift only can hold 3 people in - 1 wheelchair 2 people - and its behind locked doors at ticket hall and platform level means the heavy luggage would have to ask for lift to be used when its with staff

Yep, not really convenient for wheelchairs or heavy baggage or indeed urgently required signalling equipment due to the capacity/ weight restrictions but we did have to use it for such in emergencies occasionally even though the DSM was not happy and wanted written guarantees that we wouldn't break it! yeah that right - the new lifts should be great for staff as well to transport heavy things down or up avoiding small lift i often seen staff with heavy things using it at mainline stations eg transporting equipment from platform to platform via passenger lifts in early/late 90s - they often use old fashioned goods lifts which staff would take disabled to those lifts to transfer between platforms i wish the Hounslow west station needs proper lift - there step free but via stairlift (installed early 90's?) if TFL installed one then prams and baggage and wheelchair can use it without help so i hope someone will take photo of new lifts soon
