If you download the full resolution image of the full map from Revupminster's Flickr, there's four more mini-maps of South Kensington (2 & 3 shown below S.K to Sloan Square and 4 & 5 shown just above Victoria station) showing track slews and dates.
There's an info. box in the top right hand corner which dates the {Edit: original} map as May 1954. Seems to be numbered No. 155. {Edit: A further footnote adds "Numerous small corrections and additions made Mch 71, Nov 79, May 80, Oct 80, Oct 84, Sep 85, ? ? 88, Sep 88.".}
(Any errors / lack of clarity in the above are purely down to me)
Thanks to revupminster for sharing such a wonderful map.

(Asking here as I'm guessing it might be related to this)
Has there been a rail replacement bus service covering Olympia(?) > Earl's Court running since last Friday? There's been a DL11 service running using 4-5 Abellio vehicles per day between approx. 8am and 7pm.
Thanks in advance

Northern Line: No service due to a signalling system failure. Tickets are being accepted on Southeastern, South Western Railway, Thameslink, London Trams and London Buses.

I hope this counts as 'on-topic' for this thread... ted.europa.eu/TED/notice/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:574563-2018:TEXT:EN:HTMLI'm a bit puzzled about the statement "facilitate assembly, testing, commissioning and both light and heavy maintenance of rolling stock", is 'assembly' referring to just joining the carriages up into a unit or something else? There's a headline on Transport Briefing dated 11th October 2018 which starts "Train manufacturer Bombardier has obtained approval from Network Rail to introduce the Class 710 London Overground Aventra into..." unfortunately the rest of it is behind a paywall, hopefully the next words are "passenger service"? None of the other rail related news sites I look at seem to have an reference to this. Simon

Does the line become Crossrail on Sunday? Unless I'm misunderstanding it, the linked article is referring to Crossrail fares, will it be these that apply from Sunday? Simon

ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:172588-2018:TEXT:EN:HTMLSorry, I'm on mobile and can't do proper quotes - I'll edit later. "Description of the procurement: The London Underground Bakerloo lines’ signalling systems are controlled by dual Hewlett Packard A Series systems which range in age from approximately 25 - 35 years’ old. The systems are supported by a team of Company engineers with the experience and knowledge to carry out first and second line support and repair. The Company also has an inventory of spares for the systems held in store which with suitable testing can be released for signalling system and control repair. The proposed support contract will ask the Contractor to provide a remote third line support service for testing and fault finding, repair and replacement as instructed by LU Bakerloo Line signal engineers. Support shall be triggered by the LU sending a Request for quotation (RFQ) to the Contractor. The RFQ’s will cover several types of requirement including repair and calibration of hardware, response to technical query requiring a written response, supply of replacement hardware, a requirement for training and an annual obsolescence report." "Duration of the contract, framework agreement or dynamic purchasing system Duration in months: 60 This contract is subject to renewal: yes Description of renewals: An option to extend the framework is included in this opportunity of up to 36 months. Due to the very restricted availability of technical knowledge for this 'legacy' Hewlett Packard system the same contractor is likely to be invited to renewal their contract for another 7 year duration of the remaining operational life of the HP system in LUL." So, five years, plus possible three year extension plus another seven year extension? Htioi Simon

On this subject, why does the PIS at Kings Cross announce a west bound Met service as 'All stations' but then follow it with 'Calling at Finchley Road, Wembley Park'.... If its all stations why omit some?

The reasons given for going to Ilford are "for wheel turning" and "bogie mountings cracked". If the former is correct then it does suggest that it's a wheel lathe out of action at Beckton Depot. What can they shunt it with at Ilford? Will mainlibe stock couple to it? TIA Simon

I note that RTT shows the platforms all as either A or B, is the public 'name' or just for use during testing? For example I would have thought that Whitechapel would be platforms 5 & 6?

⚠️ @ldnoverground have announced they are carrying out extra safety inspections to their trains, therefore some lines are closed. London Overground routes affected are between Highbury & Islington to West Croydon/Clapham Junction/Crystal Palace and New Cross. Thameslink's tweet above isnt the full story....

One under Marble Arch. Train 104 EB was timetabled to go to Hainault but instead was reversed at Leytonstone on Platform 2, the driver refused to accept the signal over to Plat. 2 because they hadn't been told about the short turn. Wood Lane are possibly the worst control room on the combine although I'm told that the Piccadilly are worse If the train is in auto, how does the driver refuse the route? TIA Simon
