Funding agreement 14 weeks from expiry of current one and half what was needed! That's no basis for managing long-term development of London's transport system.
In contrast, Network Rail have an agreement to March 2029, and the National Highways strategy runs to 2030. Other metropolitan areas are funded to 2027.

Four years on, it doesn't look like Monday and Friday peak demand will match other days. The Friday trial of all-day off-peak fares won't return peak demand. Is there talk of cutting peak services on those days? Easiest way would be to mark some peak push-in trains TWTh only. That would allow more long-weekend breaks to be rostered for train crew, encouraging them to remain in the service. Night Tube lines already have a different Friday service, which could be modified more extensively.
