well thought id mention it as no one else did, and after some of the replies i dint think it was that bad!

The reason Borough hasn't got a multifare machine is literally because there wasn't the space to put one in. The booking hall is rather small. It was a pain working there when the booking office was closed. There was no Oyster in those days so customer complaints were plentiful.
