PM me your details and I can get one sent out. No pictures just yet, but I am sure many will be appearing over the next 24 hours. There's a few special surprises around and about too...

The article says you can only see them at Brixton and Oxford Circus but I'm sure I've seen them at King's Cross St Pancras as well.

Oxford Circus, Brixton, King's Cross and Liverpool Street all have roundels, although they're not the same as that in the image above.

Suppose it didn't help with the Central Line having issues at Loughton at 2am this morning due a defective WESTRACE card

What's a Westrace card, and is it allowed under equalities legislation?

The railway was less busy than anticipated. Have to see what it's like in a few weeks. Yes the loadings on the Victoria Line were very low. I didn't see a single train showing more than 10% loading all night, some were showing 0%. Obviously Night Tube is so vitally important to London... A very inefficient way of providing transport to a comparatively small number of people.

Night Tube attracted a rather large crowd and worked pretty well for the most part. The usual crowd of party-goers were filling the platforms up until 3 AM when things then started to quieten down. Loadings may have been low for the remainder of the night, but remember, things will pick up as more Londoners discover the potential of Night Tube.. I saw a handful of passengers on a Westbound service at Leytonstone at around 4 AM. Many were early shift workers, however, I also saw a couple of passengers with luggage and backpacks. This suggests that Night Tube will cater fairly well for the early morning travelers, subsequently bridging the gap between the early morning and late evening travelers.

Obviously Night Tube is so vitally important to London... A very inefficient way of providing transport to a comparatively small number of people. You can't really come to that conclusion after one night of operation. People tend to build their lives around physical infrastructure and plan their whole days and nights around public transport so someone who is used to always getting the last train or gets a night bus/taxi etc wont immediately change to the night tube for a while if at all unless they can see a benefit from doing so. Also only services operated on the Central and Victoria lines. When services commence on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines people will likely use the Central and Victoria lines more to change on to the other lines/come from the other lines to access wider range of destinations and even though publicity was wide spread probably quite a large amount of people still aren't aware that night tubes operate.
When the service expands to the SSR are there any rumours as to which lines will have a service and will the service soon operate on a Thursday as for most people now its an extension of the weekend.

I spent the night across the system and, considering it was the first night and a potential for so much to go awry, loadings were healthy throughout the night. There were a few instances of rowdiness but nothing worse than a usual Friday and Saturday night.
I shared a trip westbound to Loughton with a group of young party goers who all thought the Night Tube was great, and will be using it a lot more as a cheaper alternative to taxis. They were also connecting into one of the new night bus routes, apparently.
Whether Night Tube is a success or not is yet to be determined, but I'm pretty certain that last night has safely proven many of the bay-sayers wrong.
Back out again tonight to form a firmer opinion, as I did lose a good couple of hours on the official first train.

Where were you coming from.... Ongar !!! En-route home from my visit to Oxford Circus and Brixton [around 1:30am], I was traveling towards Loughton, only to witness strange/angry accusatory looks from a group of 4 persons being targeted towards a gay couple who had closed their eyes and were both semi-conscious/sleepy - they only had arms around one another, like any other loving couple might. For a brief moment I thought I was going to have to intervene to prevent an incident, before common sense prevailed and the couple, along with those making the accusatory looks, all got off at Mile End. Then driving home from Newbury Park I heard Cristo, a presenter on LBC, go on for some 20 mins about who cared if the tune was now 24 hours using a very patronising, biased and uneducated tone / POV. It was clear the he was coming from a preconceived POV and haden't made the effort to invite any genuine guests from any Union/TfL to contribute to the debate. Just prior to parking at home he was ranting on about how typical it was that here was a signal failure at Loughton, suggesting that TfL/LU might as well only report when a good service is operating on all lines (as opposed to when there are problems). The presenter gave me to impression that they weren't willing to listening to reasoned argument in the first place, so I chose not to call/waste my time and instead downloaded my images.... and went to bed after a 22+ hour day.

Actually, of course, Jack **might** have travelled westbound to Loughton, as in the early part of the night there are trains coming off the "day tube" service from Epping to join the night tube service at Loughton (where, I presume, there is a crew change). Thus Epping, Theydon, and Debden stations are served a bit into the Night Tube regime, even though the night tube doesn't go that far out.

Yes, these are the trains which only run as far as Loughton on non night tube days.
