As the Bakerloo from Queens Park is shared with NR services from LOROL, London Midland and Southern, do LUL provide NR tickets from the TVM's or provide standard TVM's which only sell TfL products?

I'd rather TfL kept the old ELL branding, but that's the joy of PPP!

I'm sure once TfL take over responsibility for the DOI's and station announcements from Southern, the annoying loud hailer guys will be replaced with the pre-recorded annoucements we currently hear at LUL stations.

It didn't help that some people were not aware of the new timetable which has seen a slight reduction in morning peak services to London Bridge.
All trains on the ELL/LB mainline were delayed from around 8.40 due to a signal fault, which led to delays which affected the Southern side more than LO.

The former Southern stations of the East London Line are now showing as TfL stations in the Fare Finder.

Popped into NXG this afternoon, the DOI only shows Southern services, with no announcements for ELL destinations southbound from Platform 1.
Platform 5's DOI displays both Southern and LOROL services.

Regarding the free tickets, they're LUL issue zone 1-6 one day travelcards in a LO wallet.

I remember when the tube map used to have some limited NR services, such as the Moorgate to Finsbury Park ex Northern City Line service.

First train from Dalston is 0656 to Crystal Palace and 0712 to West Croydon.
However the first train of the day is the 0647 from West Croydon to Dalston.

NXG will be used as the start point for some early morning southbound services from that platform.

Asked at West Croydon and Norwood Junction if they would be able to top up Oyster from May 23rd and was told they would not, so who knows how long the offices will remain open on the southern ELL if they won't be selling the tickets people want. Southern Railway still provide the majority of services from those two stations, so they'll still do a trade in paper seasons and to stations outside London. Incidentally the TVM's at both stations are Oyster ready.

I'd rather prefer LOROL to take over Peckham Rye station too, then maybe we can get rid of some of Southern's ghastly green paint! We have to wait a few more months at the phase 1 stations! ;D

I've always changed at Heron Quays for the Jubilee at Canary Wharf, much more straight forward which is a osi.

Peckham Rye and QR Peckham will more than likely remain in Southern's hands as their services will still serve the Tulse Hill line. Denmark Hill is a strange isolated pocket of SE managed stations, being bordered by Southern at Clapham High Street and Peckham Rye and FCC and Loughborough / Elephant. So it may be a late candidate for takeover by LOROL. Good point, although Southern lost Norwood Junction and West Croydon in phase 1 despite providing the majority of services. Denmark Hill is the one to look out for, it serves two hospitals and when the ELL starts will provide the same amount of services as Southeastern. I think that'll go to LOROL, alongside Queens Road Peckham, which is a small station with an island platform.

Perhaps they figure people will just cope until the phase 3 refurb starting in July/August. I suppose they could just post a paper timetable on a board until then. It works on the H&C west of Paddington, where poster timetables and station annoucements are used. I suspect from Brockley to West Croydon, the current DOI's will be used in addition for LO destinations until the refurbishment programme is complete.

I understand that Wandsworth Road and Clapham High Street will be transfered to LOROL, but what about the busier stations on the next stage of the extension? Denmark Hill, Peckham Rye and Queens Road Peckham. Two are managed by Southern and DH by Southeastern.

I'm looking at the Overground section of TfL website and amazed by large amount of inconsistencies - sometimes on the same single page! Dalston Junction to Highbury & IslingtonIn the orange banner: Direct trains every 15 minutes to Highbury & IslingtonIn the text below: Trains will run every 7-8 minutes between Dalston Junction and Highbury & IslingtonSo 15 or 7-8? 7-8 mins between Surrey Quays and Highbury and Islington and every 15 mins from New Cross and between NXG and Crystal Palace. As far as I know, West Croydon and Clapham Junction services will terminate at Dalston Junction.

You may have unwittingly looked at the one sign that was changed in mid April to the white with stripe style sign while all others remained Southern green. I may be wrong but I thought the black on orange is being used for those stations not being immediately refurbished, which explains why Forest Hill retains its Southern green signs given it is supposedly the first to be refurbished, presumably obtaining either white with stripe or perhaps full roundels. Incidentally FH already has LO direction signs on the concourse and on the new bridge, which may prove your theory that the station will probably get roundel signs instead of the orange film over the Southern signs. Incidentally, there is a stage 3 in the refurbishment of the Sydenham line stations which commences in August.

I wonder if LOROL don't install a DOI on platform 1 in time for the extension on May 23rd if the Connex DOI between Platform 1 & 2 can be adapted to show LO services as well?
Incidentally, I believe East Croydon will be responsible for LOROL station DOI's and announcements from NXG southwards until 2011.

Because of today's severe delays, the Circle service I boarded decided to go round the old route after Edgware Road instead of Hammersmith. At least a 12 min gap between services too at 9.40am. Lucky you didn't try to get to Hammersmith between 09.40 and 10.45 as we were completely suspended on that road. Only option then was an inner & outer rail with some H&C trains running to triangle to reverse! I wanted to travel to Royal Oak, but fortunate that Bayswater is 5 mins walk away.

12 minute gap between "Circle" services or both H&C and Circle services? quote] A 12 minute gap between services on the Circle and H&C westbound this morning. The DOI had Hammersmith, but the blind had Circle Line via Aldgate.

Travelling through New Cross on a southern service the other day, I noticed the old LU-era DMI for the London Overground East London Line platform is still there. Does anyone know if it still shows train information when the ELL is running? Also, will they eventually repalce it with an LO-style DMI? The LUL DMI is still at New Cross Gate and is currently off. I'm surprised they haven't been installed at either NX station. The stations south of NXG are still using Connex DMI's!

The idea of having a button for every single station on the network sounds utterly bizarre now! You'd need a much larger vending machine for all those extra LO stations for starters!

The ones with a button for every station? Yes, I think you are right. Yes, they had all the LUL stations, poss DLR and a limited selection of NR stations which I think were in purple? I remember hoping that Forest Hill would be one of those stations, but it wasn't, although if those machines were still around, it would be now it's a LOROL station.

I'm sure the LUL ticket machines pre-Oyster with the station buttons on had some of the busier NR stations such as East Croydon and Clapham Junction on them?
