I'm probably miles off (I usually am!), but is it Slough again, with the Windsor branch heading off to the left?

Think I know this one, but not sure if it's one of my photos or not! This is not your photo - the only photo I have of yours that I've not used already is a view of a zone 1 station from the street. Well in that case: Coppermill Junction +2

Looks a bit like Southfields to me? If so, chosen because it's the final day of Wimbledon Tennis, today.

One of them could be Hackney Downs (the one with the walkway sign), which would make that the odd one out, assuming the others all have "high" in their names?

Morning folks,
Last night I heard a member of staff referred to a “TT1”. Just curious what this role is, really! Any ideas?
Thanks all,

Leaving the driver at the mercy of possible violent drunks, all alone on the train with no place 0f safety. Possible violent, drunk, thugs, enraged about being stuck in a tunnel with no means of egress. I thought (based on the other thread) that the detraining proposal on the W&C had been dropped, so that shouldn't have been a factor in this Friday's strike action? Happy to be corrected of course!

I noticed that "CBTC" signs have been installed at the end of the TfL Rail platforms. Yep I clocked those too, tonight. Took a few photos of the new setup but don't have a photo-hosting account to post them here. I'll have to ping them to Chris M instead for the quiz

Thanks, Dom.
I noticed today that it would seem that common sense has finally prevailed and the S stop marker on the eastbound TfL Rail platform has been moved back down to the far eastern end of the platform. Regular announcements being made to reflect this ("to prevent overcrowding"). Not quite sure why it took so long to realise it was a bad idea, but glad it's finally sorted!

This morning was another disaster. I got to South Woodford ; everything went from 100% fine to totally suspended Liverpool St --> Leytonstone/Newbury Park. The driver sounded a bit exasperated ' "i'm very sorry, ladies and gentleman. we have lost all control of the signalling in the Leytonstone area. I know its not what you want to hear on your way to work on a Monday. I know the central line has been a bit dodgy lately...". What made it very annoying for me was that I know that the 179 bus goes from South Woodford to Ilford (to pick up TfL rail) but didn't know where the bus stop was. The station assistant denied all knowledge that the 179 called at South Woodford. I eventually found the right bus stop, hidden around the corner, but it wasn't great - a big double-decker bus that was half empty and linked to a TfL rail station in about 20 minutes, which station staff seemed unaware existed. Not sure what your final destination was / if this'll help, but when the central line goes down we tend to walk up George Lane to the north circ., get the 123 from there to Blackhorse Road and down the victoria line into town. The 179 is quiet at the mo because it's the school holidays; can be rather busy in term time. Also, if you prefer the route from Ilford into Liverpool Street then the 123 bus is more direct to Ilford from South Woodford (on the north circ again but in the opposite direction).

Does the district line still do the same announcements when on approach to Earl's Court that I can remember from a few years back -- something like "The next station is Earl's Court. This is a District Line train to Wimbledon. Change for the Piccadilly Line and District Line services to other destinations"? Always thought that could be replicated on other lines where they diverge (a la North Acton and Leytonstone)..

Is there any particular reason why these aren't built into the onboard automated announcements? It seems to manage all the other "change for" ones, and they've recently updated them too to include TfL Rail etc. Seems like an easy win to me.
For the station platform announcements: again, they've introduced these on many platforms now (Mile End springs to mind), are there any noise abatement orders etc. that prevent TfL from putting these in at Leytonstone and North Acton I wonder?

Hampstead Station (Heath Street) exit only stairs. Chosen today as Station opened on 22 June 1907. The Hampstead Railway now part of the Northern Line was opened between Charing Cross, Camden Town and Golders Green and Archway(Highgate) on the same date. 111 years old today. Sorry, could you be more specific please?
