Any update on when the next section of the upgraded ATO will take place ie west of Sloane Square and the District line in the Earl’s Court area and the Circle line via High Street Kensington to Paddington ( Circle line ) plus High Street to Fulham Broadway via Earl’s Court, not forgetting the Olympia branch. Thanks. Provisionally 6/7 November 2021, with a fallback to January available

From Sat 4 September at Hammersmith 22A/B and 23A/B points will be plain-lined, thus preventing eastbound local trains access to the fast (Picc) line and eastbound fast trains access to the eastbound local (District).
Piccadilly trains departing Acton Town platform 4 must not accept WL106 route 1 (EB local) District trains departing Acton Town platform 4 must not accept WL106 route 2 (EB fast) to Hammersmith District trains can be reversed via Barons Court sidings in extreme circumstances.

Any chance they would change the eastbound between Moorgate and Liverpool Street. The past few months it has been a joke running around 10-15mph. eastbound: Kings Cross-Farringdon -½min Moorgate-Liverpool St -¼min Liverpool St-Aldgate East -½min

Is "to better reflect actual performance" a euphamism for "slowed down", or has it been sped up? Could someone describe the southbound changes in more detail? Is there a significant change in journey times between Amersham/Chesham and Baker Street/Marylebone? Northbound Barbican-Farringdon -½min Farringdon-Kings Cross -¼min Kings Cross-Euston Sq -¼min Great Portland St-Baker St -½min Baker St-Finchley Rd -¼min Rayners Lane-Uxbridge +½min (RL-Ec +½, Ik-Hid -½, Hid-Ux +½) Southbound Uxbridge-Rayners Lane +½min (Ec-RL +½) Finchley Rd-Baker St -1¼min Kings Cross-Farringdon -½min Moorgate-Liverpool St -¼min Liverpool St-Aldgate -1min Marylebone-Harrow +/- same Harrow/Amersham/Watford/Chesham +/- same

Services resumed this morning however it seems only the eastbound track received the full concrete slab and flat-bottomed rail treatment at Embankment. Wondering if a second round of closure will now be needed?

very slight retiming in new Timetable from 12 September, as Piccadilly, District, H&C and MET are going to ¼ min increments:
Acton Town: Mon – Sat 00.56¾ - 00.59 westbound Piccadilly to westbound Piccadilly 23.54¾ ex Cockfosters due 00.56¾, 00.59 ex Acton Town to Uxbridge Sun 00.02 - 00.04½ westbound Piccadilly to westbound Piccadilly 23.01 ex Cockfosters due 00.02, 00.04½ ex Acton Town to Uxbridge
every ¼min helps!

This style dates from the 1920s Morden extension and rebuilding of the Northern from the smaller bore to the more standard 12” diameter tunnels, therefore King William Street would’ve had the previous style. The City & South London Railway ended at Clapham Common
St. James’s Park also has this style

Back to Engineering work at Embankment, has any one have information on how is progressing, , has the old steel decking under the District & Circle line been cut out yet. - track and wooden sleepers lifted - preparatory work was done before the blockade, including these troughs for the concrete to settle - eastbound flat-bottomed rail awaiting concrete pour, westbound track still on wooden long timers

Probably (actually no, almost certainly) a silly question, but is this WTT publicly available anywhere? Not yet, probably after the extension opens in September.

With trial operations now underway, various details have now made their way into the public domain with the conformation of a 6 tph peak and 5 tph off-peak service on the NLE when it first opens rising to a 12 tph peak and 10 tph off-peak service after in 2022 (presumably after the Bank Branch blockade). Mill Hill East is also confirmed as getting the remainder of it's direct service restored. TFL Press Release hereWTT58: Battersea trains every 12min off-peak via Charing Cross; pattern= Barnet, Mill Hill, Barnet, Barnet, Barnet each-hour. 15min service from Mill Hill alternating: Morden via Bank; Battersea via Charing Cross; Morden via Bank; Kennington via Charing Cross each hour. still 15tph off-peak Charing Cross trains use Kennington loop

The Central doesn't really operate with a loop though; it's effectively split in two at Hainault, I believe. A train stabling in Hainault depot at one end and re-entering service at the other end, will be turned.

I'd imagine having the maps facing the direction that the train is travelling - for example all the maps would have Epping at the eastern end of the train and West Ruislip at the western end. Ok for the W&City but the Central has a loop!

Ah right. Any updates in the W&C examples yet? I understand a 2-car unit (possibly 006) is being worked upon at Waterloo.

I do not know if Redbridge station was affected but the A406 and A12 directly above it were also inundated and had to be partially closed - a very dramatic move! Newbury Park station does not normally flood but when there is heavy rain the passageways below the A12 Eastern Avenue which allow people from the southern side of the road to reach the station sometimes become inundated.. Redbridge and Newbury Park remained open, however Gants Hill closed at 1600 and Leytonstone at 1820. A landslide at Grange Hill added to the issues.

The 12th was surreal! We got on at Pimlico, and it was just spitting. By the time we got to Victoria the announcements were coming thick and fast. "The Hammersmith and City line is suspended." "The Circle line is part suspended." "The Metropolitan line is part suspended." "The Central line is suspended between Marble Arch and White City." To anyone unfamiliar with the layout of LU (and hence probably not suspecting the the Met, Hammersmith and City and Circle line suspensions were likely caused by a common factor), it must have been quite unsettling. By the time we got to Euston the Circle line was no longer being mentioned so we backtracked to Green Park and got to Shepherd's Bush, skipping a few stations along the way. There was also District suspended Earl's Court-Embankment and Earl's Court-Edgware Road (flooding affecting equipment at Gloucester Road)- problems were still occurring on Friday 16 July Circle H&C were suspended after an eastbound train went into deep floodwater in Royal Oak dip, train not recovered until Tuesday 13 July. Flooding in tunnels around Baker Street also added to that. Barons Court, Bond Street, Cannon Street, Chalk Farm, Earl's Court, Edgware Road (both), Golders Green, Hampstead, High Street Kensington, Holland Park, Kilburn Park, Marble Arch, Marylebone, Notting Hill Gate, Regent's Park, Sloane Square, South Kensington - stations were all closed at the height of the storm on 12 July.

Seems we fared considerably better than the storms of 12 July, with no Line closures this morning and only Stepney Green closed because of overnight flooding.
