I'm sorry metman, that shows how ignorant I am lol! This thread is more about the general scrappage of the 67TS....

I believe that the key figure of 6 2009 stock has been reached, meaning that the 67 stock will start going on a regular basis.

I believe that the key figure of 6 2009 stock has been reached, meaning that the 67 stock will start going on a regular basis. But does that include train 2 or not? I would have thought that it meant 6 production trains delivered (trains 3 - 8).

Train 2 is still there, or at least it was on Saturday.

Not sure if this is the next to go but 3017+3113 was entering Acton Works around 10.30 this morning.

It is indeed but I was given 3017+3113. A check of numbers might be needed.
3017 is a north end unit and 3113 a south end. 3127 is also a south end unit so unlikely, but possible, of course.

Is that how they're being removed, then? By road from Acton? (Why not from the Vic depot? That's where the new units are coming in, after all)

If they're speed restricted in RM(?) mode, are trains moved in engineering hours to stop bottlenecks occurring?

If they're speed restricted in RM(?) mode, are trains moved in engineering hours to stop bottlenecks occurring? They can run in "Unrestricted Manual" on non-ATO parts of LU providing a tripcock is fitted and a second T/Op is provided (given the lack of deadman's handle) and indeed this does happen.

I Know a couple of test train drivers who are invloved in the replacement of the Victoria line stock. They told me some months ago that the 67's would be worked to Ruislip and then leave LU via there, not sure if those plans have changed though.

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

On my way back from Old Dalby yesterday I passed 3008 going clockwise on the M25 near the M1 junction.
On my way back from Derby this evening, I passed both 3108 and 4008 on the M1 going north.

Any more news of 67s going to their deaths scrap? Has been a bit quiet of late. If they really are delivering one 2009 stock train every 2 weeks, then a couple more 67 stock must have gone.

67ts are going out of Acton on a regular basis now, I have personally seen at least four cars in the past three weeks. I took a couple of photo's of DM 3036 leaving Acton Works on 05/07 and will send them to Phil to post (as I am useless at posting pic's!).

Has 3052 gone yet - this was the car that the Queen rode in when she opened the line.

As it's one in, one our at Northumberland Park Depot at the moment, it's possibly cheapest to use the lorries that are bringing the 09s to London to take the 67s back north.

I don't think that's happening. The 09ts is delivered by road to Northumberland Park, whilst the 67ts departs by road from Acton Works.
