Is the bonus reason because it is the anniversary of the new ticket hall/entrance at Victoria station?

I have noticed what seems to be slower speeds between Victoria and Pimlico this week, and I too assume it is noise related. It was a really noisy stretch of late, but the slower speed meant my podcast listening pleasure was not completely destroyed

Surely it cannot be as simple as Wimbledon Park being a District Line station, and green is the line's colour?

With it mentioning Ealing Broadway after the upgrade, does that mean the Piccadilly Line is going to absorb the District Line branch or will there be three lines serving Ealing Broadway? From the "New Tube For London" 2014 Feasibility report: Ealing Broadway - The Ealing Broadway branch of the District line could in future be served by the Piccadilly line. The Piccadilly line upgrade would provide sufficient train paths through central London to enable this change, which would allow a significant uplift in District line services to Richmond and Wimbledon, greatly benefiting customers on those branches. In order to achieve this, Chiswick Park platforms would need to be relocated to the Richmond branch of the District line. This would increase the number of trains stopping at this station from the current 6-7tph to 12-15tph.

I was surprised at the Wimbledon to Victoria commute:
"12 Londoners do the same journey as you every day"
The website makes the point about it being purely LU stats, and I start on the tram so make an interchange rather than an entrance at Wimbledon, but that is a very low number of people. Thinking about it some more, I presume that the majority of commuters would do the journey by NR.
I expect the CR2 planners would have a better idea of the total passenger journeys between these 2 points!

In the widest sense of the term "app" there is the browser based traintimes.org.uk/map/tube/At the time of the recent derailment which closed the Wimbledon end of the District Line, it showed what I believe were phantom trains on parts of the closed section, so to me that hinted of either problems interpreting the data, or part use of timetable info to generate the display

The tunnel connecting the new Cardinal Place entrance with the District Line platforms opened last week but, not being a frequent user of that entrance (until now), I only found out by seeing the article on the Ianvisists site. When heading to the DL from Cardinal Place, the link tunnel is very obvious and is signed when you descend into the station from the ticket hall. Coming the other way is another matter. I could not see any signage on the eastbound platform this morning to hint that I could exit another way, and I had to hunt around for the right tunnel - which for me meant crossing to the westbound platform and heading for the doorway I knew went the way I wanted, from having used it last night. The link will be handy in inclement weather such as today, or during the winter when staying in the warm for longer is to be welcomed! Looking forward to the enlarged ticket hall in a year or so, it should have a big impact on the queuing to get down to the Vic line
