As I'm not in London anymore to do the photo honours - if you want to get a good photo of the 09TS on it's test run, there are two footbridges over the tracks at Northumberland Park Depot.

So I take it that no one took any pictures and/or a 2009 stock was not tested on the 13th?

I suspect the tests are on the 67TS test train 3077/3012. Can anyone confirm?

Sorry towerman, I missed this thread first time around! Tubeprune is quite right, the 09 is due in London next month. We have some type testing left to do in Derby before it heads south. As soon as I have a confirmed date and a confirmed testing regime I will let you know. In all likelyhood I will probably have to do a few night shifts for this, so I will try and get some decent photo's for everyone. I am not sure but I suspect Tubeprune is also correct regarding the possessions for testing currently advertised. The 'Config B' test train is the most likely candidate. This has WRSL signalling kit fitted to it.

The possessions advertised specifically say "testing of 09 TS"

The possessions advertised specifically say "testing of 09 TS" Yes, but that covers a lot of things. It is testing for 09 stock, just a different stage of the tests. It doesnt mean that they are using 09 stock.......

So, can we expect to see 09ts cars arriving on low loaders at Northumberland Pk on this date?

"From that date" I'm told. There are 8 cars. They will not necessarily all arrive on the same day.

So far, the 2009TS has not made its debut on the Victoria Line.
Delivery is penciled in for about three weeks time, according to the DDM to whom I spoke. He was skeptical, though, which is understandable considering that delivery dates have been put back before.

OK thanks for letting me know
Shame we have to wait a little longer as is the usual case with all rolling stock!
But i feel it'll be worth it and in years from now we'll be bored of them and will look at other newer stocks lol ;D

The 09ts delivery date has slipped mainly because it is undergoing further type testing before coming to London. It is unfortunate that BTUK have given dates and then failed to meet them but in fairness to them I suspect that they gave the dates with the best of intentions. Programs slip and I think we can all accept this, it's just that BTUK have put their necks on the line a few times now and given dates which then proved to be unachievable. If I am honest I suspect you won't see Train 1 in London until May, but there is an outside chance it may appear in April (although I think May is a better bet!). I will keep you posted.

Some of them will be inserted into the 1972mkII fleet on the Bakerloo Line, to provide the extra rolling stock needed to restore the Watford service. The rest will probably be scrapped.

The first two cars of 2009TS (11002-12002) are "on the way" and expected to arrive 17:00 to 18:00 this afternoon at NPD. The rest of the train will arrive in 2 car batches over the next 3 days (they hope).

The first two lorries left Derby at 15:10 and are currently on the M1, as tubeprune has correctly stated the cars are 11002 and 12002 which are the north end motor and the associated trailer car.

The first car made it onto LU infrastructure at 0935 this morning, via No.19 road which we modified to make it suitable for delivery of rail vehicles.
Being on the team for that job does have its advantages - I was sent an e-mail with pics of the delivery from one of the project managers concerned!

I passed cars 13002 and 14002 this afternoon in Derby, they were uncoupled and waiting to be loaded (the lorries were not there). Just to clarify, these cars and 11002/12002 are fitted out and are 'almost' passenger ready.
