08/05/2012 A notable absentee was 5088+5046 Hi there! I think that's because they're sadly forming today's T717 to Northwood and on to the great scrapyard in the sky. This is according to another thread on the forum. The next two units to leave us presumably on Monday (14/05/12) will be 5080-5081 and 5160-5161, so get these while you can. Best wishes to all Green Lion.

Yes saw 5161+5134 yesterday, probably the last all A62 formation ever. The only remaining options for 5134 to be paired with are 5169, 5181, 5189, 5203, 5219 and 5321.

I'm staying at Esher in Surrey tonight and wonder if it is worth heading up to Metroland to try and get some A stock. Does anyone know what is out today or this evening?
Thanks

5061+5091 were in Ricky south sidings. 5012+5180 were in Ricky north sidings. 5094+5102 and 5099+5107 were stabled at Watford.

Unless I am wrong or they've changed their mind, it's neither of these.

Are you able to reveal what the masterplan is then please? I think I read somewhere else that 5062-5063 may be the lucky unit? presumably it'll be one of the double enders if they're only preserving 4 cars.
MTIA for any further info.
Best wishes
Green Lion.

Is there any reason why this particular unit has been selected? Somebody else on the forum seems to have differing information? I guess time will tell, but any clarification in the meantime would be most welcome. MTIA Best Wishes Green Lion.

Plenty of A Stock out midday today and at least three on the Amershams and Cheshams.
An all A62 train today - 5134+5161, but this may have been reported already. The front of 5034 (ex-5008) continues to look 'disgusting' and being roughly half red and half white on the front, can be seen a mile off!!

5134+5161 have been running for a few days now. I think the front of 5034 should have a quick repaint!

Thanks for the report Metman. It looks like we're looking for homes at the moment for 5016, 5096, 5108 and 5169

Well there sould be no problems at all pairing them all up. Sadly it may be apparent that 5016+5169 may couple for Monday with 5096+5108 remaining. However, now it is sudden death and NO unit is safe! We wait to see....
There is also a 5mph TSR onto platform 6 at HotH too which isn't helping.
