The last day for passenger service is the 26 the September 2012. OK, as you, the admins & mods have nothing to reply, we all can take that date as official. Please post times and stations. (Tongue in cheek)

As far as I was aware, the last regular A60 trips have finished! The last one I am aware of was an AM peak working on the Friday the Olympics started, I check the TAS sheets (which tells people what units are on which sidings etc) most days and haven't seen any A stock down for passenger duties since........ Operating the enhanced Olympic service of all S stock means the normal timetable can easily be entirely accommodated by the new trains. There may well be A60 stock trips in the event of a serious S stock unit shortage (from the four A stock units that are in reserve at the moment), but nothing is pencilled in for them each day. As for the 26th, haven't heard that, the 29th is the date I have been pointed at and details should be available soon

What was 5034 with (5062 i think) doing on the sidings next to the mainline at neasden yesterday about 7pm? On the way home past 11pm the headlights were on this time anf the destination board said Amersham. Is it in service today?

Not it will be a test run just to keep it in working order. AFAIK 5034+6063 are together still.

Wasn't in work yesterday but have ways of checking the sheets, no A60 stocks were booked out yesterday, looked at today's and none booked out today too. As Metman says there will be the test trips but I suspect this will be all *unless there are severe problems with some S stock trains and the reserve is bought out to play, you never know ;D

The last day of A-stock service has not been confirmed. They could go out again out of necessity if S8 availability dips, but unless that happens then there will probably be a day out for all four of them for a final run.

Just for face value, we may as well make mention of Monday's A60 Stock workings:- T403 N5022+5091S T446 N5063+5034S (unless it got turned since I last saw it).

I assume the front of 5034 was still more white than red? It was last Thursday when I saw it (16/8).

It's funny how the S stock gets all jumpy between Pinner and Northwood Hills. I wonder why. Just took a trip up to Northwood. The funny thing was the train on the way back didn't do that. . . . . . BUMP 5189+5118 in service NOW as 403 Uxbridge/Watford-Baker Street Great stuff good to ride on the old girl again!!
