Changes overnight: 5116+5231 and 5014+5151
What's the betting that 5014+5151 will form T717 on Monday and be withdrawn later today?

It's an old telegraph abbreviation - if something was cancelled it'd be CAPEd Cancelled at point of entry, I think.

Hi all!
Has set 5234-5235 been withdrawn and scrapped now please? I know this set used to have a different number; I think 5008-5009??
I presume it has now gone, as there was no reference to it in the comprehensive list of units out and about posted yesterday. Hope someone can clarify this for me, as I can then cross it off my list of units still needed.
MTIA
Best wishes
Green Lion.

5234-5 is a long term RAT along with 5110-1. Not scrapped, formed with 6036 and 6132 respectively.

Formation changes made at Neasden during today's midday off peak: 5070+5225 and 5094+5103
It would sadly appear that just about the only reason left for reforming 'A' stock trains is to form up a scrap train.

Yes your RAT definition is correct. Yes 6036 was in 5234/5 and 6132 with 5110/1 (odd seeing an A62 TL in an A60 formation).

Todays sightings: 28/04/2012
5109+5100 5046+5189 5090+5061 5203+5104 5080+5093 5103+5094 5119+5024 5113+5022 5088+5161
Much better than Last Saturday's 5 A stock. However I didn't see 5070+5225 so it must be withdrawn, Hopefully It will be in service tomorrow for one last time.

Interesting (and good!) that there were so many A Stock in service today, as the S Stock status is (as of today) 42 trains delivered, of which 41 have been commissioned for service. That's not to say that 41 are fit and available for service of course ;D ;D
But it won't be long before weekend services "could" be worked by S Stock, provided all the stabling is sorted out on a Friday night.

Changes this morning: 5034+5231 and 5116+5121.
Pure speculation but has next Wednesday's T717 just been formed up?

I think the next to go will be 5070+5225. Oh, your right, it certainly will be 5070+5225 on Wednesday. I was just looking ahead to next week which Bentley has now confirmed will be a scrap run on the 9th May.

Was surprised how many were running this afternoon given that there were no trains beyond Baker Street. At least 4 were out and about.
