Good Afternoon all!
Can someone confirm which A stock units are going for scrap today please? Is it really 5000-5001 and 5232-5233, which seemed to be the strong favourites from last week's posts. The original plan I thought was for 5000-5001 to be kept running until the end barring major failure, so if it has gone, then the plan has obviously changed, but Congrats to Antje, for being the last passenger on the unit at Watford last week.
Best wishes to all
Green Lion

5100+5109 was my fortunate discovery as I changed off the Bakerloo to the Met at Baker Street on my way home. Yes, you were fortunate! Normal Saturday service and I witnessed just six trains formed of 'A' Stock actually in service this pm. One change though was 5061+5090.

Evening everyone!
Could someone tell me if 5096-5097 is still paired up with 5134-5135 please? I had 5096-5097 on a Chesham service this afternoon and this unit was at the south (London) end of the train with 5097 as the driving car, but didn't get to see the set on the north end. Any help with its ID would be greatly appreciated.
Enjoy the A Stock whilst we still have it!.
Best wishes to all
Green Lion.

Is 5099 out today? What is it with? Was formed up with 5056 yesterday and in service. I expect they were uncoupled during the midday off-peak today and 5056 withdrawn. In respect of noting 5106 earlier formed up with another unit displaying 'SPECIAL', 5106 was also in service yesterday, formed up with 5052. You may have seen this train on a turning trip with 5052 then withdrawn on its arrival at Neasden. All speculation but would seem to add up based upon UndergroundDriver's kind advice concerning the next formation for T717. I expect it will be Wednesday as Allelys were back on site after disposing of 5044 and 6044 earlier when I passed Northwood at about 1930. That's usually an indicator for disposing of four vehicles the following day when there are two scrap trains in a week.
