Had a ride to Harrow from Baker Street in cars 5017 and 6063 on the return tonight. The driver was putting his foot down at every oppurtunity which ensured a very bouncy journey in both directions!
Anyway, my observations from tonight;

02/04/2012 Also seen today PM 5088+5169 Metman, I observed 5088+5161 this morning. I think this is the formation you probably saw yesterday evening? It would make sense as it is likely to mean that 5000(off 5088)+5232(off 5161) have been formed up into a train for scrapping on 11/04. If this is indeed the case, I do hope that we get to see this formation in passenger service for a couple of days before final withdrawal. Perhaps someone could advise whether or not this will or not be the case? 5169 remained formed up with 5114 yesterday. |

It should be, but don't really know. The Easter holiday may change the way things are done. It "should" be about until Thursday at least. Keep your eyes peeled folks!!

Hi all!
Thanks so much for all these formation reports. Does anyone know if two 4-car sets are being scrapped today (4. April) please? I know 5082/83 and 5182/83 were withdrawn on Monday, but as there's two S stock deliveries booked this week, will another A stock train go to Northwood today please? and if so which one?

Nothing today. Unit 5183 still on site this morning. 5082 & 6082 went Mon and 6083 and 5083 disposed of yesterday.

I am on 5000 right now since starting out at Baker St. at c. 8:30am We visited Aldgate, Uxbridge, Baker Street and then Watford, where 5100/5101/5108/5109 arrived. Along the way, I collected a lot of photos and made some sketches.  (While I was at Uxbridge) Now I am at Watford heading back towards Baker Street from 11:50. |

21 Trains of A' Stock observed at AM peak but no 5000. I cannot verify its status at the moment, can someone confirm whether 5000/5233 will run today so I don't risk getting a cold for no reason? Thanks.

Two changes: 5052+5107 and 5134+5195. The latter is worth noting. May possibly turn out to be the last 2 x A62.

Funnily enough, the 8 car A62 set found me too - twice!! A few to add to metman's list: 5023+5152 5168+5114 5122+5044 5094+5224 5034+5098 Note that 5044 was formed up above in service, the three pairs at Wembley Park were: 5012+5180 5024+5149 5189+5047 As regards 5000, I assume it's still there - I was on a Zone 1-6 Travelcard, as there didn't seem much point paying for the extra zones with an engineering block north of Ricky. Shame, as it's one of the few I never sampled and I was really hoping it may be let loose over the weekend - seems I'm doomed never to have it  Had a cracking run on 5050 though ;D Anyone know where 5230+5014 was please? Just to satisfy my curiosity... |

06/04/2012 the last all A62 train happened to find me tonight. Is 5000+5233 still at Watford? Checked this evening and it's no longer stabled on 21 Siding. I didn't see it in service this afternoon and your reports from yesterday would indicate it wasn't in service then either. Obviously moved as a one-off move direct to Neasden Depot. I guess that's it? Separately, If I recall, TTNs were in place for T717 up until 04/04? Presumably there is an updated TTN now in place? I guess the arrangements remain the same? Would be grateful if someone could confirm. |

Seemed like Thursday was the last day - glad I got a ride on it. I daresay it'll off for scrap tomorrow.
