5096/5097 same train! I just put down the leading or enabled ends! Clearly my eyes aren't what they used to be! Thanks for the updates as always.

Tonight (9/12/11) I've seen: 5099+5130 5068+5115 5062+5189 5134+5215 5183+5??? 5128+5165 5097+5044 5193+5070 5153+5014 5018+5117 5050+5191 5024+5113 Looks like 6112 has definately had its de-icing gear removed. The feed pipe has gone along with the sensor. Didn't see if the tank was still there.

Changes: 5120+5161, 5080+5195, 5014+5153, 5082+5225 and 5038+5227. Inevitably one or two others. That means there are eight units (4 'A' end, 2 'D' end and 2 double ended) not known to be coupled to anything, including 5000 and 5231.

They must be coupled up, we just haven't seen them.

They must be coupled up, we just haven't seen them. Yes, some of them must be, but my point was that we don't know which ones, and that there is a possibility of 5000+5231.

Changes. 5000+5231 and 5040+5122. I think the former makes up T476(am) or possibly T426.
Just travelled Baker St to Liverpool St and T426 passed by - 5056+5169. Therefore, subject to any changeover that took place at end of AM peak, 5000+5231 will form either T475 or T476 this evening.

Couple of other changes: 5034+5102 (as noted above) and 5046+5106. 5000+5231 was reformed this evening from T476 to T426. With normal services this weekend and indeed, an increased rolling stock requirement on Sunday, I'm sure this formation will be out and about.

Had a ride on 5130+5188 today, 5130 was in superb condition as usual! A question to depot staff, is 5130 one of the best units mechanically etc?

It's pleasing to see that today 5000 (oldest) + 5231 (youngest) were still together on train 444.

Thank there are a lot of de-icer units placed together. I would have thought these would be split up. 5102+5108 and 5120+5122 are such examples.
