At this rate of disposal they could get rid of 3 A stocks a week!

T717 operating with 5076 & 5193. Just went through Moor Park on the northbound. .......and arrived in Northwood Engineers' Siding at 1306. As with Monday, one end of the train was displaying T714, this time at the south end!

T717 is booked to run both Mondays & Wednesdays until 4th April. So if all trains run 16 1 x4 units will be gone by 4th April.

All but 5076 and 6076 have gone from the Northwood site. The former were though loaded up at 7pm ready to depart either this evening or first thing tomorrow.

Sadly, it does look that way, I wonder which A62 unit is to go with it? 5181, for example?

5034 contains car 5008 (the current 5034) which was part of the first unit in service with 5004. The rest of unit 5008 is trading as unit 5234.

I'm quite confident that there will be no scrap on Monday. However, can someone tell us if that's true? Thanks

Just passed Northwood. T717 did run! It was formed of 5147+5020. 5147 was at the north end. 5020 and 6020 disposed of.

I really hope not. You never know, these are dark times.

The strategy seems to be of 'one in one out'. If an S8 arrives on a Wed night, an A8 goes the following Mon. An S8 arriving on a Mon night results in an A8 departure on the Wed.
Doesn't appear an S8 came in last night so presumably next A8 out will be next Mon following this Wed night's S8 arrival.

The Met allocation is 58 trains for 50 diagrams, and at the moment there are 28 A & 33 S8 so still +3 at the moment.

The tipping point has been reached for deliveries, but I´m not sure if it has been reached for the trains in service yet - i.e. still more A Stock (just?) in service than S Stock? If that is so, it won´t be long I´m sure someone can confirm ....

I know they are recycling some of the luggage racks through the LM shop, but I'd love to get my hands on a few meters of moquette without having to re-mortgage the house!

I agree, rather than selling the moquette along with a cushion or whatever, i'd like to see just the moquette alone sold

5021 and 6021 disposed of from Northwood yesterday 13/03. 5146 and 6146 went today. Not quite the urgency this week with just one A8 to dispose of.

Yes, drove down to the car park a short while ago to see 5147-6147 still there. At least it was only one train this week.
