Wembley Sidings looks pretty disused as it is, maybe one set of rails that isn't rusty.
RE: Witdrawals, 5010 is looking shambolic inside, although is OK outside, any other people thinking about a particular unit , no flies on 5205....

RE: Witdrawals, 5010 is looking shambolic inside, although is OK outside, any other people thinking about a particular unit , no flies on 5205.... I have a view about an 'A' end unit and am pretty much there about a 'D' end unit but won't speculate until any information is kindly provided about a definite move from Neasden to Northwood. As I've said before, I could speculate only to find that the 2 units forming a scrap move were operating in passenger service the day before as happened with 5179.

No scrap move then today? Well, certainly not to Northwood when I passed there a little earlier.

well you mentioned 5205, i was on that today. The side doesn't look great and the paint is coming off, and also the motors didnt sound too healthy, but inside it was fine

Well 5205 and 5010 are two opposite ends of the scale, 5204/5 is near spotless inside, but shambolic on the outside, 5010 is very good outside, but the inside is really rather shabby.
Also, I did notice some speaker feedback on 5204, but there are worse ones, 5119/5050 I hasten to mention.

5048 has the horrible high pitched problem with the PA system (DM 5048, not the whole unit)

The next train of 7 (yes I did say seven) cars will be moved to Northwood at lunchtime on 4th July. I also know the unit numbers involved, but I'm afraid at this point I don't think I should divulge them - I haven't checked to see if they are in service still. There are some who may decide they want a last-minute souvenir or carry out some other action. As for the missing 8th car - look out for that in the autumn

The next ones to go are 5207, and 5132. The latter of which is the seven car. Minus car 6132. Please see my post in the formation thread.

5110 was last in passenger service early on w/c 30th May when it was formed up with 5149. I had begun to wonder what it's future was going to be. Now I know so thank you very kindly for the information panniertank.
5132 was last in passenger service the week before last when it was formed up with 5147 (around Fri 17/06).
As for 5207, that was in passenger service yesterday formed up with 5088. I did note 5088 this morning on the way into work but couldn't see whether it was still formed up with 5207.

The next ones to go are 5207, and 5132. Wrong I'm afraid - at least as far as my information goes. It may be that the units you quote also have a car missing, but are not necessarily the ones going. (I'm not going to cast comment on everyone's guess, it was just the apparent certainty in this post).

Which unit is formed with 5132-6133-5133? Can it run ok? Will it have to be dragged? Pushed into the siding?

Why are units having cars missing? What's going on!!! It's not units (plural) it's just the unit which will be moved on 4th July. It will be moved along with a full 4-car unit. All 7 cars will move under their own power as has happened before when the trains take their last trip. As it doesn't take a genius to work out my hint, to confirm things, this autumn, there will be 2 RATs - this will enable better reliability between the 2 trains. Last year saw the RAT out of action a fair few times mainly due to flatted wheels.
