I know the plan was to start S7s in passenger service on the circle line today, has it happened?

A train will be making multiple return trips between ECT and West Ham this week on weekdays as far as I know. I will post a video later.

T 207 was 21313/4 at Barbican 16:42 outer Circle. T 214 was 21357/8 at barbican 16:33 inner Circle running about 13' late.
Will 207 and 214 be regularly rostered for S7 from now on, please?

Please could we try to keep cross posts to a minimum - it's probably quicker to write it here anyway, especially if it's only a sentence or two. Thanks.

Can somebody tell me why the 'door not in use' light doesn't light up at Mansion House in this vide (at 3:00? The light above the 'wrong side' door does normally light up.

wow - the district line S7 trains was unexpected to run in service - its wasn't be started till later in year or something
but problem - when we have alots of S7s we need LED maps to show which trains are going to more simllar to NYC - example - this would improve - example district line shows the line map - if train suddenly turns to circle line - the map will change to Circle line map - in older trains - its was impossible to change maps if train went on other line also a ability show cancelled stops eg station closures -
this video shows the main dot matrix showing next stop and infomation messages with a strip map on adjacent wall - works well in combination

Perhaps a bit early to ask, but once S7s are running regularly on all lines, will there be separate allocations for the District and H&C/Circle/Wimblewares, or will all units be treated as a single fleet and therefore turn up anywhere on a day-to-day basis?

All S7s will be treated as a single fleet, with trains finishing as a Circle and being a District the next day.

I believe the plan is that S7s will run on the Met en route to Neasden depot. They will run out of service to Harrow and reverse still ECS. I'm sure there will be the odd time when a train has to deputise for a failed/cancelled S8.
As most people now know, about three S7+1 have been running on the Met for some time to cover works at Derby on the S8s. These trains are treated as part of the fleet and appear to be in everyday service.

It may seem like a lot, but I'd imagine that it will allow for a fairly rapid delivery when it comes to fully replacing the C stock, and some of the D stock

Weren't the S8 delivered two a week at one point? What's the delivery rate of the S7 at the moment?

Weren't the S8 delivered two a week at one point? Yes - IMS (I believe it's mention in this thread if one searches back far enough) it went something like " there are two paths a week available for delivery, [to Neasden] but not all will be used;" at peak it was something like two one week and one the next - so approx. 5/6 a month.

There were power supply issues to do with getting more the new trains into service. (More juice was needed.)
The substation at Edgware Road looks to be finished now. This and other work at stations means entry into service is easier and I imagine deliveries will speed up and there will be more trains for scrap.

Did a late afternoon check at Barbican today and it appears that some trains that were S7 have reverted to C stock. The three Circle line trains (200/207 and 214)were S as booked. However compared with last week H&C 231/235 were S7 vice C Stock and H&C 241/245 and 261 were C stock vice S7. Might anyone know if these changes are permanent, please?
