A quick look at the WTT does show that there are never more than 32 trains in service, so they will have the ability to operate a full H&C&C service, but they will only be able to do that when they have 32 S7s ready for passenger use. But I'd be doubtful as to whether or not there will be a full S7 service before January/February when the next commissioning stage takes place, there is bound to be at least one C scooting around the Circle until it's dying die, I mean, for the C stock to retire doing Wimblewares seems a bit unnatural, especially as they are primarily seen as a Circle line train, but thats my own opinion (about the C stock, not the number of trains needed to run the H&C&C!)

I saw an S7 moving through Upminster Depot (it appeared to have just entered but can't say that for sure) at about midnight this morning, is this a normal occurrence?

Was up in London the last few days and did 6 journeys on the H&C. All were S7's, which made it fell as if the introduction is, finally, really happening in earnest.

Last night, around 9 o'clock, I was changing from the Goblin to the District line at Barking, and there was a C stock in the bay platform, and it left for Hammersmith and was replaced by a S7. So there must still be at least one C stock still running.

The current H&C peak requirement is 16, off-peak 14; of these 9 are nominated as S7 workings.
Today, 28 July S7 21351/52 ran empty: 0950 HMS via OR Ald/Vict MGT3 via IR Vict/Ald HMS 1320.
Empty test running now started during off-peak hours.

The first S7 traffic hours test trips round the circle commenced on Sunday 28/7 being done on an ad hoc basis at present with a view to begin increasing the number of trips over the coming weeks for driver training purposes leading up to introduction of S7 passenger trips round the circle

Can you post the photos please?
I'm on the newest S7 (21353/54) and the doors aren't closing hard so it can't be a fault.

And are there still loads of finished stock waiting around to come down to London?

I believe the next "big date" is the end of August/start of September, although that isn't a guarantee of the H&C going full S7, just the ability to do so. That day will also be when S7s are officially allowed to take passengers around the south side of the Circle. As for numbers, there are 20 at the Test Track, and probably plenty more at the factory, waiting to be taken down to the test track.

Train number appears to be 236 which would indicate that this is a Hammersmith and City line train. Not sure why it is displaying "Circle Line".

My guess is the day the video was filmed the H&C line was running between Hammersmith and Aldgate so the train had to be shown as a Circle line train.

Anyone spotted 21357/58 yet? It should be in service by now but no-one seems to have seen it yet.

How's the testing on the circle line going and is there a date when the S7s will be in passenger service on the circle line?

Today, I spotted 21305/306 and 21307/308 as well as another unit in Northfields Depot. Any idea what they're doing there?

IIRC, they are being stabled there until there is more depot space available.

Cross posted from www.districtdavesforum.co.uk/thread/22565/s7-sdo-announceme-nts to retain relevancy: What time are they aiming for? From start of traffic 0506. I wonder from which station, assuming that WTT 29 is likely to be invalid from then on. WTT29 still valid until 7 December, amendments by special notice. Thanks to the way I'm sleeping at present I might be able to get the very first one. I have two possibilities: is it the Inner Rail 204 Trip 1 that starts at Aldgate, or runs empty from Aldgate to King's Cross... or the Inner Rail 202 Trip 1 arr at Gloucester Road at 0517?
