So that's 3.5 trains in each direction. Out of how many working the line? I wonder how long you would have to wait, on average, to encounter and H&C S7. And will they now be increasing the number with a steady stream of new deliveries or is that it until December (/May 14/Dec 14/ May 15 ...)?

Out of 14 on Sundays, so half the service. 9 S7s have been delivered since 21 March (3 in March, 3 in April, so far 3 in May). Currently 20 trains delivered, with 3 as S7+1 on MET.

So they are slowly trickling down from Old Dalby (without any of our non-lu members noticing it seems!). I wonder how many are still up there?

Saw 21335/336 in service on the Hammersmith & City on Saturday 18th May. Don't have the train number, but the service was heading west, at Euston Square, around 07.25.

Tried doing a survey of S7s in service this afternoon in the Moorgate/Barbican area only to be partially thwarted by a signal/points failure at Aldgate However I did see T/N 230 - 21333, T/N 232 - 21341, T/N 241 - 21329, T/N 242 - 21321, T/N 243 - 21331, T/n 245 - 21315, T/N 261 - 21325.

On my journey to work this morning I saw an S Stock train pull into Barking so seeing that I was early I decided to get it instead of my usual C2C train, every other H&C train I saw on that journey from Barking to West Ham were S Stock (although I could have not noticed one). I can't wait for people to get comfortable seeing H&C trains as S Stock and then in 2015 letting S Stock District Line trains come and go assuming that they're H&C .

In the last two days (today and yesterday) I've used the H&C line 5 times and all 5 have been S7s

I can confirm my earlier statement that when on the late shift on my journey to work I only see S7's, this also applies to my journey home so there can't be many C Stock left on the H&C.

Those doors are really violent!
It's not bad when you're ready for it but the other day when waiting to depart Barking the driver disengaged(?) the doors at which point I was expecting the train to pull out and not for the doors to reopen which made me jump.

Yes,when I was on one the other day at Edgware Road, the doors closed and a suited gentleman leaned back against them, they open again with the loud snap and he nearly falls out. He spent the rest of the journey giving the doors the evils!

Noted in service today (23/05/13) were: T232: 21325+21326; T236: 21339+21340; T240: 21311+21312; T241: 21305+21306; T242: 21307+21308; T243: 21315+21316; T245: 21309+21310; T261: 21341+21342.
Are all these 'normal' S7 workings, or can they work any train on the H+C now?

Thanks to prjb of this parish I was lucky enough to travel on the first S Stock in service into The City. I too was surprised at the expedience of door opening, and that was a few years back now!

Loads I would guess. Train 91 at Old Dalby (although T90 still at Derby). Train 106 has been seen complete and numbered at Derby from "over the fence" - from a perfectly public view . On that basis, there must be more around, some un-numbered and some part complete. I would guess Derby is "awash" with them!

Would it be possible on the delivery list on here say if the trains are at the test track?

21304 seems to have gone from Upminster in the last few days after 6 months unless on another road or in the sheds.
