In service? Actually just realised it wouldn't be as there was no District line service to Ealing Broadway today. Thought it wouldn't be as they are not running on that line yet. It was just that the doors were open

The interior changes may be the addition of strap hangers as there is a greatly reduced seating layout over the old trains. Not sure about the cab. Perhaps the sun blind ;D

In regards to the S7+1's currently on the Met, the 3 original S7 units were already de-icer fitted, yet the +1 coach that was chosen to be added was a 253nn de-icer car. Any particular reason why, the only thing I can think of is that the de-icer trailers are built first?

Yes, it was simply that the only M2 23xx being built were M2D 25xx cars to be inserted into later build trains. Remember, that all S Stock cars are motored, there are no trailers.

I noted 2 S7s stabled in Wembley Park (North) sidings yesterday. The work must be complete!

Not being a regular in the S Stocks' current area of operation, can anyone tell me if the special 150 liveried S Stocks are still operating as such, or have they been unwrapped? If they are still in the 150 Livery, when is it planned to remove these wrap.

OK. Any chances of 21301/302 running on other lines before the wrap comes off?

21007/008 sat between the 4 class 20's and barriers on Neasden 'Klondyke' at 09:25 this morning. Is this a post-mod return or the next one going up?

Anyone know which class 20s they were? Four (two GBRF, two blue) were parked up with the barriers at Hornsey for a while on the 11th but of course they were behind all the usual maintenance wagons!

Unit 21321/322 is leaving Old Dalby today for delivery to West Ruislip. Timings are available on the usual mainline forums and of course will be via High Wycombe and not via Aylesbury

IMPORTANT - PLEASE TAKE NOTEPLEASE READ THIS FORUM NOTICE FROM JUNE LAST YEARWhether the information is available elsewhere is neither here nor there... we don't want it here on the DD forum... end of !! If other forums intentionally choose to allow themselves to be used by (and therefore be associated with) the graffiti/vandalism fraternity, that is up to them. That is not something that District Dave stood for, nor will we (the staff) allow the forum or David Maloney's name to be disrespected or tarnished ! Because the two posts above have been online for so long, they will stay... as a reminder of what not to post... This forum now, sadly, has one member less - the forum staff meant what we said !So to clarify, if there's any ambiguity, please feel free to post once a train has been safely delivered (and details of the numbers/units)... but never of its expected/impending arrival (delivery of course may never happen), nor expressly state or imply any route to be used, nor where the info can be found elsewhere.

How many S8s have been sent back to Derby so far? 3 [2 from Neasden and 1 from the Old Dalby Test Track] 21001/02,21003/04,21005/06 Which rather indicates that the suspension of production of new S7's for the H&C has nothing to do with the correction of the S8 problems. It's now clear that there is a very major problem with this introduction and no one has yet come up with any logical reason that stands scrutiny. I wonder if tfl will come clean at some point and tell us what they've cocked up.

Only 3!!! I thought it was more advanced than that.
Having said that, the S8 I heard this morning was making a terrible noise on stopping and starting. Reminded me of the A stock pre-refurb!

Well 21007/8 was meant to be returning last week but a defective Class 20 put a stop to that. Which rather indicates that the suspension of production of new S7's for the H&C has nothing to do with the correction of the S8 problems. Well they are still building more S7s

Well they are still building more S7s Not according to the tfl forums website which documents the S7 introductions. Nothing has changed since the 11th Jan. Do you have another source that contradicts this?
