Will they just install the passenger interior while it's there or have Bombardier more work to do on 001?

More like a complete overhaul... From what I was told 378001 & 378002 should be the last 2 units to arrive before the ELL start to get there's but who knows what is going on as they are so far behind schedule...

Is it possible that 378001 and 378002 will be delivered after the first ELL units? When should the next unit be delivered?

Anything is possible the way things are going.. May 18th is the date being mooted around for the next unit to arrive. But as always don't hold your breath ;-) If things get really bad then the ELL will end up poaching the 3 car 378's to use on the ELL just to get training done and to start some sort of service.

There were/are a couple of 5X78 paths today, one from Willesden to Derby this morning and another in the opposite direction happening now. I understand that 008 is the London-bound unit (according to someone from the Electrostars Yahoo Group), and although I'm not 100% certain the use of '5X78' this morning gives me the impression that 005 is now back in Derby...

Currently No Conductor has done the complete 378 course yet? Apart from visiting Derby in December i have yet to see one let alone go on one. How long will it take to train the conductors? There were/are a couple of 5X78 paths today, one from Willesden to Derby this morning and another in the opposite direction happening now. But doesn't there need to be trains in the other direction so that the locos and wagons used to deliver class 378s can get back to Derby? Or, could it be that 378005 has to go back because of something to do with it breaking down just after it was delivered?

The GBRF locos aren't limited to 378 drags (or 377 drags for that matter), so they could get to Derby from anywhere in theory. I'm sure Dazz285 will know of 005's whereabouts...

What about the wagons that are needed to couple locos to the units?

What about the wagons that are needed to couple locos to the units? Not wagons these days, but translator vehicles (really a couple of gutted mk1 coaches) with the gear to make the brakes work on the hauled unit). Further to movement yesterday, the translator's were at Derby already and the loco ran light from Willesden when they were not found on the TMD as originally thought.
