A number of times whilst at East Putney the board have given the destination of City (via Victoria).
By city does it mean Tower Hill?
Thanks

Hi, just a few questions about tomorrows strike
How big is the RMT on the Northern?
What has LUL done to victimise staff? Is Morden the biggest depot and what is the likely impact of the strike as the TFL website doesn't seem to say very much?
Thanks

LU did very well to open Bond Street for interchange this week as it was originally supposed to be the 10th of December.
What works were carried out at the station and why can passengers still not enter?

Anyone know the cause of the failure? it first occurred at 1AM yesterday and clearly didn't get resolved in engineering hours and causes a suspension on the Piccadilly line today of 8 hours and the District !!!!
I've heard they have "scanning" issues in the Acton Town area, what does this mean?
Thanks

Central Line: Minor delays between Hainault and Leytonstone via Newbury Park due to trains being taken out of service for essential maintenance. Good service on the rest of the line.
I've never seen this before, does this mean they have failed and is just another way of saying faulty train?. The 92's mustn't be doing well if they have to take them out of service for maintenance approaching the peak?

Why are the unions so opposed to driverless operation? They will still have staff on trains to evacuate them in an emergency and which is surely better as they can deal with incidents rather than sitting in their car perhaps not aware of what is happening.

I think they look wonderful, I think the 1972,3 stock now look tired and out of date and I really love the TV screens in cars.

I see your point but surely its better to do it now than to have a multi billion pound extension consisting of tiny tube tunnels. Although thousands would be displaced by a line closure by 2030 or in the future if they ever needed to close the line for upgrade works there would be even more displaced by the work and the Bakerloo between Harrow and Queens has the Overground and in central London (inside the circle line) there are alternative lines as all stations apart from Regents park and Lambeth North are served by other lines.
Also with better tunnelling technologies the new tunnels could weave in and out of existing structures with greater accuracy avoiding many structures and although some major station work and other work ie sewers would b needed surely its better in the long run for the future of the tube

Surely that would be the best option to build full size tunnels for the extension and re-bore the existing Bakerloo line between Elephant and Queens Park ish and run full size trains through. Better than waiting for another 30 years for Crossrail 2. it would solve so many problems such as:
lack of capacity heat in tunnels the extremely curved nature of the current tunnels and you could have 10 or 12 car trains

Bit cheeky of lul advertises 34 trains an hour if it isn't even for an hour On WTT 68 are they attempting to run 33tph more reliably than they manage currently and will any extra trains be required as aren't nearly all the trains in service in the peaks?

I'm assuming this will come in next May when all night Fri and Sat running begins. What lessons will be learnt from WTT 67. From reading comments from Aslefshreugged, it seems that the current timetable is putting too much strain on the trains abd crews. From my own observations, there seems to be very few peaks where there isn't at least one train cancellation, probably due to defective stock or driver not available. I understand that 100 kph running is to return with the new timetable. Are they also going to attempt another frequency increase to get the westbound evening peak level back to 30 tph? I've also heard rumours that 33 tph will be attempted on the eastbound in the evening peak. Does this mean that 34 tph doesn't actually operate on the Central Line in the peak?

Is there room available for the additional trains?
There is a little room at Edgeware and Barnet but any at Morden???
will they need to build additional sidings for 50 new trains and how many sidings is Battersea expected to have?

Also as the Victoria Line has had a new signalling system the speed that trains pass by a closed station may have changed resulting in the new speed limit.

For a few days North Ealing platform 2 Eastbound is closed because it's faulty.
Anyone know what caused the problem and will they be able to repair it in service with trains running?
