Sorry it was 21 years ago I was trained. I can remember watching some moves on an old vhs tape then being tested on it, as for how many times you do a route it used be a minimum of 4 times before signing off. Training time as far as I'm aware is different from line to line. I never had any documents about routes but we had a book for train faults...This may have all changed now

On the Piccadilly line the brakes will apply no matter where you are, If your within station limits you deal with the alarm. If between stations there is an override button on the floor that you need to keep your foot on to get forward movement.

Unofficially I can still remember 2 ways to cut out the rheostatic break whilst breaking but if you get caught doing it you will be for the high jump, ;lets just say 1 of them results in you only being able to select a breaking position and getting an air brake warning screaming at you.

Finished my signal career in Loughton cabin before transferring to the Picc as a driver. Though I never worked on the lever frame it would be a shame if it rotted away. Are the push button controls still in the cabin for Loughton Debden and Epping
