I think D might be Ealing Broadway - it looks familiar and I reckon that's a D stock sneaking into shot in the background.

Between you, the locations have been found, but not the odd one out. Station A: Wimbledon exterior [Chris M] Station B: Cockfosters platform 3 [Chris M] Station C: Stanmore ticket office [Chris M] Station D: Upminster - east end of platform 5 [Chris M] *Click any image for a larger version*

Either: they are all termini for one line except for Uxbridge; or: they are all wheelchair-accessible stations except for Cockfosters.

I THOUGHT that D might have been Uxbridge because of the sidings, which Sarah was gapped in once on a tour whilst running-round. Gap leads had to be used.

Are you sure that picture D is Uxbridge? It looks remarkably like pfm 5 at Upminster to me, and that certainly looks like a D stock, as mentioned by adw (although he did say Ealing Bdwy ) Also, no-one claimed it was Uxbridge as far as I can see

This was my error in one of the three places that SE13 could have read the answer from, sorry.

My error. Although I read Upminster for the replies, I copied and pasted a location which, as you can see, was incorrect. (I was in a bit of a rush this morning!)

Something about the number of platforms tube trains can use at the locations? Although the answer is related to platforms, this isn't the answer we are looking for.....
