I observed 91225 with large numerals in lieu of the normal sized ones... They are about the same size of those on the 95ts, but are not in the standard font...
91179 is 'out' pending repair to a huge gash in the M door and much of the drivers side of the cab is pushed in...
Just what are they doing with those 92's???

Thought I saw one once being made on Blue Peter... ... and here's one we made earlier out of a loo roll tube and some sticky-back plastic The DM you're mentioning probably hit something solid like a moth ;D ;D ;D IMO the 92ts's need refurbishment asap - their seats are painful to sit on. I found that out yesterday on the way home from Leyton Orient (one stop between Leyton to Stratford).

In my experience (many trips to and from Debden) the 92s do have the most uncomfortable seats on the Combine. The cushions also look more worn out than those on any other stock - significantly more so than the presumably approximately contemporary seats on C stocks (I'm guessing they date from the 90s refurbishment).

Indeed - dating back to 1993 for most cars The 92ts's need refurbing next.... certainly before the 2012 Olympics. Image the embarrassment for LU/ TfL if after having invested billions, the rolling stock are tired and look worn out - not the best impression that we can bestow on the world of London's transport system. IMO all 'plastic stock' (those built after 1983*) are very poor in surviving very long in service without looking tired. The vinyl floors bubble up, seats wear out (sagging/become hard), and plastic interiors can become easily marked - not least by graffiti. * not that any stock built since 1969 have been anything other than plastic bar the original wooden flooring on the C, D surface & 83ts

the C stock seats after refurb were: [1992] I think I read somewhere that they were replaced with the current seating later... I may wrong though.

When are they going to refurbish the 92ts? At the recent LURS Meeting by Alf Arnold on the refurbishment of the Waterloo & City '92s, he said that planning work was currently going on to "mini-refurbish" the 'main line' '92s " by 2012", which would suggest a start very soon!

The vegetation is fighting back, if this was the case; only a few months ago an 'A' was taken out, now a 92, whats next...Poor old Sarah being swallowed whole by a triffid? The floral display at Northwick Park turning psychotic?? Dangerous times indeed...

One for Artery.......looking at this thread title will there be an update of stock on a regular basis? Knowing what the 91 and 92's are up to would be very interesting

167 yesterday!!!
001 is rather weird... when I am on that unit, I get this weird feeling run through me... Blow me down, I dinnae notice I was on it once until I was motoring away eastbound into Bethnal... This was just after it came back from long term stoppage...
