The FRL (and possible the relays-though I am not a signalling expert) suggests it is a reversing point, I initially thought of S.Harrow too however it would have to be off the E/B looking West towards Rayners and I don't think that is it. HMm tricky!

It is not Ealing Broadway or Stanmore, but the the latter is geographically closer than the former.
The photograph has not been modified.

If Stanmore is geographically closer than Ealing, then the photo may be of Colindale.

It isn't, but the station is closer to Colindale than Ealing

Finchley Central, south of platform 1. The FRL protects the MHE shuttle as it runs into platform 1 from the north.

Arnos Grove, southbound line behind platform 4? We have a winner!! The answer on the stone reads: FRL at east end of Arnos Grove platform 4 (looking east) [MRFS42]

After years of using Arnos, having viewed it from many different angles, I must say I am truly embarrassed not to know this! Congrats TOK!

What a surprise... Possibly. However, avid readers of the forum will be able to work out (or make an educated guess at) locations that 'don't fit into the norm'. [1] G'wan, then TOK: 'fess up - did you interpolate from clues or did you visit likely locations? [1] Yes, this is a subjective statement....
