So, no arrivals between 8am and 9am. I don't believe you specified arrivals in your earlier post.

Fair enough, I didn't. Those aren't exactly peak peak though. Come on, you're splitting hairs now! I think there is at least one other 345 operating in the peaks, but I'm not sure about timings.

It's important to me because I want to ride one of the things.

Mod Comment: Let us not get into a debate about what is and isn’t peak trains. Maybe it’d be more sensible to enquire what the times of the trains are and if someone can help you, they will, otherwise you will have to wait and be patient, or just go out and wait at a station it serves.

I can help there. The 345s currently work these passenger services each weekday.
07.29 Gidea Park to Liv St 08.07 LS to GP 08.49 GP to LS 09.30 LS to Shenfield 10.24 SN to LS 11.20 LS to SN 12.14 SN to LS 13.10 LS to SN 14.04 SN to LS 15.00 LS to SN 15.54 SN to LS 16.50 LS to GP 17.32 GP to LS 18.07 LS to SN
On Saturdays they work
11.56 LS to SN 13.05 SN to LS 13.56 LS to SN
Additional unit sales may run, but these are the planned workings this week.

Thanks for those little corrections to my previous post.
You may also start seeing a few runs later in the day as well. I don't have the details as yet though.

All being well they'll be working the following from Monday. 18:54 SN to LS 19:52 LS to SN 20:44 SN to LS 21:40 LS to SN I helped with a few tweaks to platform lighting last week. They should be able to run in the dark without any problems.

Still only 1 working though? 11 in service by the end of September is clearly not happening.

There is currently the one working which runs in a normal timetabled slot, the timings of which are shown in this thread. There are also some special additional workings that run. Just seems a big step up to get to 11 workings in the space of 3 weeks.

Not if you just allocate them diagrams assigned to 315s.
Thanks for the times; I may 'book' an appointment to ride one. What has been irritating to me is that there's usually at least two of them sitting in the depot while I am going past on an ageing 315 with no air con.

A different unit is allocated to this diagram each day, however the unit hasn't been able to complete the full job and has been replaced by a 315 for the latter part of it. From Monday a 345 will now work the full diagram starting at Ilford EMUD at 07:00 returning cars at 20:14.

345 010 was the only out I noted during this evenings peak... and we're getting towards mid September.
There were several in Ilford this morning, including one in the shed... with another one out (might have been the same unit as this evening).
Tick tock, tick tock to getting 11 out by the end of this month... as I'm sure that only 6 or 7 Class 345's (No.s 345 005 upwards) that have been delivered and are in service to the east side of the future Elizabeth Line so far !

Not yet; I believe the plan will be for them to take over in May 2018.

I understand the XR tracks between OOC and the XR portal are now being relaid to the final layout but that's not critical for May 2018 passenger services. I'd assume 1 or 2 345s will have to be at OOC fairly soon for testing including into Heathrow. There is not a lot of time left to get through testing, mileage accumulation / reliability build up and driver / route training.

I'm not sure the wires are up yet. From May next year 345s will run from Paddington Main Line station which is already wired for Heathrow Express and Connect services. Some GWR are also running with Class 387s.

(378s use West Ealing or Maidenhead)

Got my first 345 this morning, 008 formed the 08:12 from Ilford to Liv St. I normally get the 08:14 as the 08:12 is normally packed and not everyone gets on and this doesn't happen on the 08:14 but when I saw it say 'Formed of 7 coaches' I knew I had to get on it but even though it was busy it cleared the platforms at Ilford and Forest Gate (fast train) and I loved how cool it was (temperature wise).
