I noticed on the screen at Ilford this morning it showed a train to Liverpool Street with 'Formed of 7 coaches' underneath, I can only assume it was a CL345. Hopefully not a 315 with its rear end missing!

Travelled on a 345 twice today.
The trains now have a limited number of black strap hangers on the horizontal handrails.
In case you haven't kept up, the 7 cars on the 345s are longer than 8 cars of the 315s.
The indicators always give the 7 car indication when it is a 345.

There was also a 317 running around today on the Shenfields...in ?GN? livery I've seen 317's running on peak hour Witham services, but never on TFL Rail. I didn't think TFL Rail used any of Greater Anglia's trains nowadays.

I only tend to see 317s on the Ipswich services, certainly not on TfL Rail.

One was definitely 006 yesterday. Now on 005. 1120 ex Liverpool Street. Think at least 2 covering service trains with others on test.

Didn't see any at Liverpool Street tonight (c.1720). 1650 to Gidea Park and the 1807 to Shenfield were worked by unit 010 on Friday.

I saw 345009 arrive at Southend Victoria on Friday evening. It was behind another train and in its special bay so couldn't get a pic.

SaveThe 345s were running as extras until last week and there are still slots for test trains. They are now running some of normal scheduled service. They have to have 11 of the new trains in service by September.

My question would be that if reliability isnt up to the level tfl desire, how could you meet such a requirement?

Train 008 just left Maryland at 1129 heading towards Ilford.
First time I've seen it in public service.

Are class 315s going to begin to be withdrawn then?

It'll depend on what condition they're in, I'd say.

I think there may be 4 running at the moment.
They are now operating in the dark. Lighting issues have been resolved.

Reported on TFL website:
No service between Liverpool Street and Stratford due to a faulty train at Liverpool Street. Tickets valid on London Underground and London Overground.
Hopefully it's not a 345!

It wasn't. I was caught up in it and didn't see a single 345.
When are these going to actually run in the actual proper peaks anyway?
