January's Tube map is now being delivered to stations. It's not officially in the wild yet, but it's appearing at stations as and when current stock runs out. In King's Cross' case, that was today.
Quite a few changes from the May 2015 edition, as might be expected. The front cover is by artist Tomma Abts, and the rear features an advert for this year's big 'Transported by Design' campaign, sponsored by Exterion.
Headline changes are the reunification of Tottenham Court Road, a new shaded area for stations in both zones 2 & 3, and the forthcoming closures of Caledonian Road, Holland Park and Paddington (Bakerloo). Holland Park is struck through, however Caledonian Road and Paddington both feature dagger symbols instead as they're not closed for the entire currency of this map. Tufnell Park remains closed and struck through. The 'Check before you travel' section is also noticeably emptier than previously - aside from the cases mentioned above, all other restrictions have been removed, with a single emboldened section telling users to check online for variations.
Other changes that I've spotted:
It's possible there's more I've missed, but it's late and I'm tired from a difficult shift. Photos to follow in the morning.

Other changes that I've spotted:
- Tottenham Court Road has been given a standard interchange symbol, with no step-free access
- Stratford International, Stratford, Stratford High Street, Abbey Road, West Ham, Star Lane and Canning Town are now on the boundary of Zones 2/3
- Greenford is now marked as 'Step-free access from street to train'
- Stanmore and Covent Garden have lost their daggers
- Emerson Park, Cambridge Heath and London Fields have gained daggers
- Victoria has gained a new symbol for Victoria Coach Station and lost its dagger
- London Bridge has had its 'Step-free access from street to train' removed and reverted to a standard interchange symbol, and lost its dagger
- The Overground to New Cross, Crystal Palace and Clapham Junction has been re-arranged where the branches diverge, with a new three-way junction
- Woodgrange Park has moved onto the diagonal section, with other changes in layout relating to the new 'Zone 2/3' shaded area
- The two Emirates Air Line stations have been separated from their rail transport equivalents, with no joining line. They have also lost their daggers
- Canary Wharf now has two interchange symbols, one for the Jubilee and one for the DLR, which are joined together. Canary Wharf and Heron Quays have lost their daggers
- All references to Night Tube have been removed
- The box with the key has had some re-arranging; the District's limited service is now listed last, whilst the Emirates Air Line has gained 'Special fares apply)' below. Tramlink has been renamed to Trams
- There's a few changes to the 'Index to stations' on the rear, but I won't list them all. Notably on the key, stations now have a 'Visitor Centre' as opposed to a 'London Travel Information Centre' (inline with their rebranding), and daggers now mean 'Services to/from stations are subject to variation. Please search TfL stations for full details' rather than 'Check before you travel. See the other side of this leaflet.'
