Indeed. Hopefully that isn't the case if T125 runs this afternoon. Will this also mean that Olympia has seen it's last D78 in passenger service? Is T125 going to be a D then? Sadly not. I was rather hoping to see one in case of a S7 shortage at eCom. They had enough units of S7 to run both T125 and T126.

What time does the unit start tomorrow. Hoping to pick it up around the Ealing/Acton area?

So which train is being used for the tour, and when will it be transferred to Upminster?

So which train is being used for the tour, and when will it be transferred to Upminster? The tour starts from High Street so will be provided from Ealing. 7032+7007 and 7526+7037 will both remain available (unless the plan has changed since Thursday!).

I will hopefully see it again soon when it is transformed into a RAT (Rail Adhesion Train)! I know this isn't the right thread, but I want to pick up on this: are you saying that 7007+7032 is due to be converted into a RAT? I thought there was already a D Stock RAT - is that to be replaced or supplemented? If anyone could supply further details, and maybe switch to the correct thread, it would be very interesting to know more. Thanks.

No cars from 7007 nor 7032 are expected to have any future with LUL or affiliated organisations

Yes, the D stock RATs are decided already (and both trains are near completion). The nearest 7007 and 7032 will come to future use is possibly a source of spare parts before they are hauled off for scrap.
While I think about, car 7012(iirc) is the car being kept by the museum.

Whilst it is probable that some D stock cars will find a second life as Vivarail trains, and of course there will be the RAT trains, it is still my understanding that only the DM's and T's are being retained, with the entire fleet of UNDM's being scrapped. Or am I wrong on this? Simon There will be two UNDMs in each RAT. Aha! Thanks Jack.

Not quite correct. The second of the two will most likely be finished before the first due to mods that have been added during the build.
