Got mine too!
Ran into Detonator Dave on Saturday. He asked me to add that he will be on the tour and if any of the old Baker Street crowd are about to give him a shout!

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

I gave Detonator Dave my spare ticket for the 'A' Stock farewell tour. We bumped into each other at Amersham and I couldn't believe it was him after all those years. We were both drivers at Baker St in the early 90's. It will be good to see him again.

Sadly won't be on this tour as it now clashes with another commitment!

Y'know the irony is that I will off to Dublin on that day, I'm starting to feel like an DART 8100 class addict, to me they're like a greener version of the A60 Stock.

Me and Detonator Dave are booked on the trip. Dad (Detonator Dave) can't wait. And once again he will be in his old 80s LT shirt. Lol.

I suggest a trip to Greystones on one sitting in the Motor Car. Going through Bray Head No. 4 Tunnel, close your eyes and you think your on a C or D Stock on the southern Circle Three of us are making the trip from Ireland for this. Looking forward to it. Booked into Coach A. I look forward to meeting you! We'll make ourselves known. All railway staff from Iarnrod Eireann.

Ah yes, I may do the second tour in June (assuming it's still going ahead), but for now I think may follow through on irishunderground's suggestion and go around Bray Head listening to the howling motors of the 8100s. I ventured out to find a C Stock on the Wimbleware (sorry if anyone takes offence in me calling it Wimbleware), but I didn't want to hang around in the crowds at Earl's Court for too long, so I bailed and took an S Stock. Ah well, I have a month or two left of trying to get a ride on one in normal service.

Only a few months left before the phrase becomes pointless!! Repeat after me: "District Line" There, see how easy it is? :-) District Line is rather apt for this forum don't you think? since this April railtour is going to be the most prolific railtour ever done in recent years I would like to make a full length video of it, but of course I will be on the train, so im making a request for anyone who would be willing to video the train at certain key locations such as,
Rayners Lane westbound
Hornchurch westbound
Stamford brook eastbound
Upminster
elm park eastbound (from the bridge opposite the station)
elm park westbound platform
preston road westbound
Becontree
at the moment I am only considering for this being a youtube video, whether it could be considered being done as a DVD I don't know, but with my skilful editing I could put together a decent video of the event rather than just 2 minute clips on youtube

Anyone have a timetable including all the reversals etc? Otherwise I'm going to pop in a freedom of information request for a working timetable...

"Wimbleware" is no worse than "Bakerloo"! I agree. They're both terrible Stuart. However, because "Bakerloo" is the official name of a line (and we're stuck with it) doesn't alter the fact that the other pet-name in question sounds (as I've said before) like a Nuns' Outfitters and ignores the truth that it's officially the District Line. I'm not aware of any other such names used for other branches of the various underground lines. :-) Sent from my iPad

I'm sure traditionally the edgware rd service was known as the Putney service. The rest of the district bring termed the main line.

Car E I see from the timetable sent from the tickets that it's going to watford via the north curve. I wasn't expecting that which is good!

Does anyone know the exact route of the tour? I am unable to travel on Sunday week but plan to photograph in various places. It looks like the routing mentioned when this thread began may have changed.
