The penultimate train from Brixton runs only as far as Seven Sisters, the last train runs all the way to Walthamstow Central.

Every time I look these journeys up on the planner, I seem to get different times depending on what I put in. If I put in journeys on the 27th at 2355, then hit the "latest" button, I miss journeys I would otherwise see if I hit the "later" button. Likewise, if I put in a journey on the 28th at 0000, I get a different set of results, but they mostly tally with hitting the "later" button when searching for the 27th. Arg!
Here's what I've found after much messing around.
Last Brixton - Walthamstow Central is 0026, arr 0102.
Last Brixton - Seven Sisters is 0026, arr 0055. (Presumably the same train as above).
Last Walthamstow Central - Brixton is 0007, arr 0049.
Last Walthamstow Central - Seven Sisters are every 10 minutes: 0007 - 0014 (Last one to Brixton) 0013 - 0019 0023 - 0029 0033 - 0039 0043 - 0049 0053 - 0059
If the last train from Brixton arrives at 0102, then it must run ECS to depot, or just sit at Brixton station overnight.
I don't know how long the turnaround time is at Walthamstow, so I guess the 0007 will have been one of these coming up from Brixton:
2311 (Brixton) - 2348 (Walthamstow) 2319 - 2355 2327 - 0002
The last few trains up from Brixton are every 10 minutes from that 2327, so:
2337 - 0012 (0013 to SS?) 2347 - 0022 (0023?) 2357 - 0032 (0033?) 0007 - 0042 (0043?) 0017 - 0052 (0053?) 0026 - 0102 (stables at Brixton?)
Is one minute to change ends enough?
Seven Sisters to Walthamstow Central is then closed over the weekend for engineering works, so I guess it's entirely possible there will be ECS moves to get to stock out of that section.

Don't forget there is re-signalling work going on over the Bank Holiday weekend, so all trains will be cleared from north of Seven Sisters.
There will thus be no outstabling at Walthamstow and appropriate amendments made to the WTT in consequence.
Unfortunately I'm not at work so have no access to the Traffic Circular or current WTT to check this. The on-line Journey Planner does show a 23:46 departure from W Cen which I'm assuming is Train 206. Is anyone intending to ride on this?

Is anyone intending to ride on this? I'm hoping to be on the last 67ts - Brixon to W'stow, so if it's this one, I'll hopefully be on it. Ideally I'd get it going both ways, but not sure if that'll happen!

Well, I have no idea which was the last 67TS to Walthamstow Central. Train 206 arrived at King's Cross N/B as an 09TS, meanwhile at least three 67TS went south (Train 201, 202 and another). I saw Train 241 go north as a 67TS which must have been one of the last: www.flickr.com/photos/24772733@N05/5766002681/in/photostream

Last southbound '67 (and any between Seven Sisters and Walthamstow) seems to be the 0033 Walthamstow Central to Seven Sisters made up of 75/78. Thanks to Chris M, Dave and everyone else there for taking part in the big 'will it, won't it' game and to the LUL staff for their help and (correct) information about what stock made up the outgoing trains. Just hope there wasn't a '67 following ours!

Nope the one we got was the last 67 from Walthamstow. The following train was definitely an 09 and I think that was the last train of the night (at least in public service).
The north end DM was 3078 and was showing train number 246. I didn't get the details of what was on the south end.
I'd like to second the vote of appreciation to all the Victoria Line staff, station side and train side, for their professionalism, helpfulness and understanding I encountered at the north end of the line today. Is there a way to formally send this to TfL - the website system is geared around comments about specific members of staff.

Well, I'm back home now.
As has been said, 206 was an 09ts.
The last Brixton was a 67ts, and the last Seven Sisters was also a 67ts (train 246), which I was on.
Chris M has photos, I have full HD video which I need to get uploaded somewhere!
I'd like to "third" what's been said about the staff today - they really were quite excellent at dealing with a bunch of enthusiasts and were utterly professional and helpful.
Also great to see everyone who made it. :-)
(Night buses through central London are great fun on a Friday night!)

I couldn't make it on Friday night, (5th wedding anniversary) but I did get up to the north end of the line a week or so earlier. You can see the photos I took here: www.flickr.com/photos/16299801@N03/

Just one out so far this afternoon, Set 247 (3061 x 3160) 15:52 Seven Sisters SB to 19:34 Seven Sisters NB. And apparently nothing on transfer to Acton Works today. However, last fortnight's delivery (33+71), which also did the 67ts tour the previous Sunday was running on the 'rust rails' headshunt alongside Acton Town Station, perhaps moving onto a 'loading' position in the depot?

No other 67TS operated in the PM peak today. Guess this is how it'll be now until the final end comes.

Will be interesting to see whether they can do this consistently. I suppose once train 41 is ready for service, they may be able to run the whole peak service with 09's.

Spare parts for Underground trains can often be made up by any competant engineering firm, when I worked there, it was normal to handover a full set of the component assembly drawings and parts lists for all rolling stock, in order that a spare part can be readily manufactured by any good engineering firm, without relying on the original manufacturers.

In one of the other threads, someone said the very last 67ts would be commerated in some way - a last official train or similar. I don't think anyone could reasonably expect anything on the scale of the tour, perhaps just a headboard on each end like with the last Chalfont shuttle.
However, with the rumours of the last 67ts happening earlier than the end of the month, does anyone have any more definite information?
(It would really help me to plan which weekends I'm staying in London for!)

You won't see any 67ts on any weekend now - they are only running in the weekday peaks.
