I also saw a single-ended unit running on the SB Fast at Preston Road with its inner DM leading, but I couldn't see its number as a southbound train was arriving at the station.

Thanks, I've updated the spreadsheet, but 5108 couldn't have been running with 5129, as unit 5128 is also on your list running with 5223.

Have just checked my list from yesterday and you're right. 5128 was indeed with 5223, and I had a question mark next to 5129 as the unit I saw with 5108 I thought looked like it had 5129 on it but I now know that isn't the case.

I think you'll find that 5128 is formed up with 5232 and 5108 is formed up with 5229. Been quite a number of reformations of late including the following not in your 13/07 report - 5046+5203, 5134+5187, 5124+5193, 5088+5185, 5016+5097(14/07) and 5070+5118 I've updated the spreadsheet with those formations. However, there are currently many units where formation info is unknown or out of date (in brackets). You posted in the withdrawals thread that you have seen nearly all units in the last couple of weeks, so do you know the current formations of any of those? Also, can you confirm that 5128 is with 5232 and not 5223? I don't want to correct the spreadsheet with what could be a typing error.

Looking at juliang's report from this morning, 5232 has been reformed with 5000. It was with 5128 y'day. Also, 5223 is formed up with 5114.
Some others not recently noted as of y'day (apologise if I have duplicated a couple) are 5010+5102, 5012+5120, 5020+5169, 5026+5193, 5030+5090, 5032+5221, 5040+5056, 5044+5163, 5050+5141, 5054+5211, 5058+5112, 5060+5130, 5062+5000 (until last night), 5068+5175, 5072+5195, 5080+5177, 5082+5161, 5098+5136, 5100+5149, 5116+5151, 5126+5157, 5138+5183

No sign of any 'S' stock out
'Doyen' of the fleet 5000, plying her trade on Train 410

I only record the DMs on the North and South end of the train and I noted it down as 5116+5151
